This game feels like a repeat of HELLDIVERS 2. It's a high quality game that prioritises fun over profit & gains immense popularity & favor over just that. It feels like the developers discovered something that clicked with players while experimenting, and I am honestly a HUGE fan of the game's worldbuilding & general gameplay loop.

It combines everything interesting you could think of for a PvPvE game, based heavily on looting abandoned structures for the absolute bare minimum. If you find your way back home, you keep it all to yourself. Everything else is filled in by player interaction--they can help you, trade loot with you, kill you for your loot or help you extract. You can find yourself being matchmade into lobbies with other players who are either less/more violent, depending on how you treat others.
My favorite part is the reverb filter put onto player's voices, depending on the environment, to make it feel like their CHARACTER is talking rather than themselves.

Great game, the studio also know a thing or two about apocalyptic fashion.
Console players were statistically found to be more violent, so you can disable crossplay in Settings > Gameplay if you want a more casual experience.

I've completed this whole game on a pirated copy 3 years ago because I was broke. I decided it would only make sense that I pay full price whenever I was able, which wasn't possible until recently. Honestly ?this title was great and it got me into the whole Yakuza series. Graphics were incredibly cosy for something that released 10 years ago too!

Story is intensely rich, dozens of chapters in the main storyline and another dozen substories that do wonders for worldbuilding & teaches people about real life Japanese yakuza gangs through an accurate parody.
Combat is satisfying & sets the standard for just about every beat-em-up. Realistic and action-packed, perfect for your "hell yeah" mentality or just to blow off some steam. Yakuza 0 has so much progression involved with the mastery of fighting styles that you're put through tediously long side quests that don't even INVOLVE the yakuza, it's insane to wrap my head around even now.
Aside from the latter, there's enough content to keep your eyes glued to the screen overnight, just about any minigame you can think of is playable--from fishing, baseball, RC car racing and even Mahjong.

I am honestly surprised that this game costs so little. It generally goes to show how good a game can get when its studio cares about enjoyment of the players. 10/10

Today I played as SCP-939 for the first time and won. At first I considered it to be the most fun i've had all year, but now my thoughts are mixed after seeing what this community makes of 939.

10/10 game. Play Dr. Brights facility on Mayhem, especially if you don't like waiting for respawns.

Spent a lot of time on the demo and I decided that I should get the full game, I love it.
This game is the ULTIMATE adhd trap, if you boot up this game you'll be unable to get off of it for another 1 and a half hours.

Designs? Surreal. It looks like a mixture of Baldi's Basics and Cruelty Squad, the sound effects & OST are also on-point for a game like this.
Concept? Amazing. When you hear the idea of a "roguelike plinko game" comes up in your head, you'd think its ridiculous. But this game does it almost perfectly--just like any roguelike, there's near infinite potential to have an overpowered run, and there's just enough features to accomodate such.
Whatever the developers were smoking when they made this game, I want as much as possible.

This is, without doubt, the best game i've ever played. It does everything the usual AAA game or PvE shooter does, but BETTER, and with NO DLCs! I highly recommend you buy this game.
