I first reviewed this game almost three years ago at the end of 2020. At the time, I enjoyed it. Played around 37 hours before I finished it and reviewed it. I didn't experience too many bugs, but certainly had some performance issues(GTX 1080 at the time).

I came back to it around 2-3 weeks ago not knowing the fact that 2.0 and Phantom Liberty were about to drop. I enjoyed it again as well, and certainly a lot more than my first play-through. This is my second play-through, and I played it much more thoroughly, doing as many side quests as I could. I came across missions and characters I never experienced in my first play-through, and I really liked it. Felt like a new game. Then 2.0 dropped, and I bought Phantom Liberty with it, and holy hell. I've put 60+ hours in the last week into the new DLC, and I just finished it today. It's a masterpiece. CDPR should've released the game in the current state that 2.0 came as, but boy oh boy does this forgive the past three-ish years for me. Incredible visuals, game/gunplay, and story. There is something for every play-style, and the possibilities for your V are almost endless. The only thing that's missing is NG+ or something along the lines, but thats not a huge deal. The game still has a lot of repeatability.

On the more technical side, CDPR has worked hard over the past few years to further optimize the game(this was my biggest gripe on release day). Features like DLSS and FSR(however gimmicky you think they are) actually allow quite impressive performance given the visual quality you can achieve. I play on a Rog Zephyrus G14 laptop with a Ryzen 9 7940HS and an RTX 4060. Highest settings, 1600p, 165hz, and with DLSS on quality mode, I'm able to easily achieve a minimum of 60fps with largely unnoticeable graphical artifacting(from DLSS/FSR). If having ray tracing off isn't a deal breaker for you, then I think that the current state of the game's optimization will leave you sufficiently satisfied.

In summary, I recommended the game back then, and my opinion has not changed. If anything, I would say that it would be a shame to not this game. Definitely time not wasted.

CS:GO Review
Anti-cheat is a lie, and there are no other ranks than Silver. No matter what the game tells you. Silver is life. Silver is eternal...

One of the best and most easily accessible ways to get into Sim Racing(competitively or casually). Unfortunately a lot of the tracks and cars are locked behind DLC but there is a surprisingly active modding community.

And if you do get the game, I 100% recommend buying Content Manager and get the Sol and Shaders mods. These can make the game look so damn good you wouldn't think this game came out almost six years ago.

As far as gameplay, there's a something for everyone(save rallying bc offroad physics aren't great). The GT, F1, and drifting communities are massive and the public servers are a lot of fun.

My only gripe with the physic is the lack of polish in the clutch when pulling off. You basically have to launch hard of you don't want to stall. When moving tho, it feels fine.

I wouldn't reccomend this game however if you don't have a racing wheel. The FFB tho is incredible

Overall, I would recommend for people who just want a no fuss, hop-in-and-enjoy racing sim.

Early Access Review
This is one of the first games I've ever bought on Steam and I have yet to get bored of it. The game, visuals, physics, and developers are all fantastic and definitely worth the $25. There is just absolutely no way to get bored when you have such an incredible modding community and updates that come pretty often. Just make sure your PC is somewhat decent or else the game won't be as enjoyable. Still a 10/10 tho
