Early Access Review
Black Survival is one of the most unique "battle royale" experiences you will have to this date. Though it lacks the initial appeal of "skill" and aim, it is a true testament to learn what you're really doing.

Pros:
- Each Character is well balanced, so you can play who you want based on looks and playstyle rather than viability
- The game is constantly updated, and things will change based on the previous meta.
- There is a surprisingly large community for this game, even in NA. (Though I believe this game is Korean-based [citation needed])
- There is a very forgiving beginner phase (Herbivore League) where all the new players are thrown into matches together. You will likely be matched with a lot of people at a similar skill level.
- There is a huge lack of "Pay-to-win" aspects, though there are definitely benefits to making purchases.
- The skins they make are purely cosmetic, and have little to no gameplay effect.

Cons:
- Learning the game is extremely difficult. Even with what is essentially an in-game wiki, you won't be able to get very far without learning from someone who's played for a long time. (They are currently looking for ways to make the beginning phase even easier for new players, so don't be discouraged!)
- The game itself certainly has memorization and a little skill in play, but the core mechanics of the game are and always will be luck and chance.
- The queues, though relatively quick (anywhere from 30 seconds - 2 minutes per game at master start | Normals) can be extremely unbalanced, leading to games where you feel severely outmatched.
- Because of the huge variety of characters and content, collecting all of the characters/skins you want will take a lot of time. Nearing 200 hours of playtime in this game, I only have seven characters out of thirty-eight, and two of those were free.

Overall I think that this is a great game, and everyone should give it a shot. However, a few pieces of advice:
- Think about joining the discord for the game. There are many high-ranking players who are happy and willing to help out new players.
- Note that lag in this game is VERY annoying and unforgiving. A stable connection is essentially required. (If you wish to play using mobile data or on your phone, I think I worked it out to be 1GB of data = around 52 hours of playtime. It goes fairly light on data as long as you don't do patches and updates on it.)
- Learn as much as you can. There is a lot to memorize in this game, but the more you know the easier the game gets.

Hope this helped!
