My friend gifted this to me on release day after we discovered and played the first iteration, and I have quickly grown many opinions towards this game.

Pros:
-Online/Local multiplayer (obviously)
-*mostly* always active game play
-Banging soundtrack
-Active developers that watch the community
-Lots to unlock and actually difficult challenges and modes
-Replayability
-Huge variety in how to choose difficulties and modifiers to any given run
-Lots of eater eggs

Cons:
-Tilting at times
-Has its fair share of bugs or weird mechanics
-Can feel somewhat repetitive after long sessions

Overall, I love this game and have put what I think is a decent amount of time into.
The devs make sure to put thought into their work, and me and my pals enjoy cracking out this game after we're done with our other shooter games or whatnot. We can sit down, relax, swing around the map with a grapple hook, blow everything up with explosives, die tragically in one shot, anything we want in the game. Even 1v1s (yes, we've done it before and hopefully you guys have too)

Would recommend, have had very little bad things to say about the game. If you like shooting or roguelikes, or both, this is an excellent choice!
