Almost 5 years, a dlc, and a now a sequel in development... the mfers still can't get the original game to work right. I so regret buying this.

Just basic ♥♥♥♥ they got right some 20+ years ago with Baldur's Gate and this game can't do it. Which is a damn shame because the core concept is there. Its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Dances with Wolves, the whole Colonialism vs Natives. There is lot to work with here.. if it worked and you didn't clip into barrels.

I know what you're thinking. !2 hours, why so little? I ask you why you got anymore. 12 hours and I realizied the game doesn't work half the time. Whats your excuse?

OK Spiders, you guys made Steelrising and that was good. Hopefully with that experience you realized you don't need a barf brown filter over everything and you figured out how to make character move without clipping into ♥♥♥♥ or *cough* how to make a map that isn't so cramped that it literally traps players into a room due to bad NPC pathing.

So I'll make you deal. You make a Greedfall sequel that doesn't need modders to fix your your broken game and I'll come back here... give Greedfall a... 4th chance or something.

Goblinz Studio is a good stuidio. I've played a number of their games and they're pretty decent to say the least. Dungeon Rushers, while not terrible, shows its age as one of their first projects by being very basic. It feels very much like a simple mobile RPG that you'd download for like $5.

You go from dungeon to dungeon on a very basic and mostly liner path. While the writing can be clever at times the story beats are far too in between each other to feel like a story. It feels more like a random set of events that you stumble up on that makes you go, "Oh yeah, this game has a story to it" and then you move on.

While it has a lot of features packed into it most of it doesn't actually impact gameplay. There is a dungeon building system where you can grind resources to build a dungeon. It has no impact on gameplay. There is loot at the end of dungeons but its literal garbage that you get. You can earn gold, but the shop also sells literal garbage. You can use the garbage to make half decent equipment that you can to grind to make anything better.

So the gameplay loop is-
1. Go to dungeon to get garbage.
2. Buy more garbage.
3. Make decent equipment from garbage.
4. Repeat.

Whats wrong with that? Well, when I say garbage I'm not speaking in hyperbole. You are literally given garbage. Where other games will give you decent loot for your efforts and allow you to use your garbage to make unique and better items than you would find in the dungeon loot. Its disheartening knowing that after a whole dungeon and all the trouble it causes you in that big gold chest at the end I'm going to get a slap of meat and bowl of water. NOTHING unique or useful that I couldn't just pick up off one of the corpses in the dungeon. GIVE ME SOMETHING to motivate me to finish the dungeon. Makes me feel the game would be more interested if everyone just went to the nearest junkyard and dumpster dived.

While characters can be humorous, again the story isn't given enough spot light to really make anyone stand out or seem truly interesting. They each have three combat abilities and an active in dungeon ability that can be improved via talents, but nothing to really wow or write home about.

Remember when I said earlier there were a lot of features but lots of them don't matter. Dungeon building don't matter because it doesn't influence your gameplay, gold don't matter because there really is nothing to spend it on, loot doesn't matter because its boring garbage just used to craft other things. What more, if you want to 100% the game you'll need to finish the dungeons bonus objectives (basically additional rules and restrictions) to unlock the heroic mode of dungeons. So the in-dungeon abilities I spoke about, lots of the bonus objectives restrict or forbid the use of the abilities so... half the time those don't matter. You can craft potions and use them in dungeons, but AGAIN, bonus objectives forbid or restrict them and Heroic runs outright ban them SO all your potions... are useless. So just sell them for more gold that isn't used for anything. Oh but what If I need to use the potion on a normal run to finish the game you ask? Just leave the dungeon. You can leaven the dungeon at anytime with no penalty and just go back in. The layout is the same so just avoid the part that gave you trouble or go back after a level and better equipment. There is NO REASON to force your way through a dungeon using potions. The reward is still the same garbage. Sell the potions, buy the garbage from the shop, make better equipment, do dungeon again. Thats all.

Its a bit annoying because the game doesn't want you to use the few systems that are in place that can be useful to you. SO why are they there?

The game just doesn't feel interesting enough to be really playable and if it was on mobile I'm sure it be cheaper too. Overall, I'd say skip Dungeon Rushers and go to one of the teams later games which are much more refined and interesting. There is NO RUSH to play this dungeon.
