Alright, time for the yearly "Gaijin has ♥♥♥♥ the bed and now the community is up in arms at the absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ decisions this company makes" review update. They've added a "Black Market" auction system ripped straight out of World of Tanks. Additionally, they're now removing more vehicles under the guise of "historical accuracy" (read: they haven't given not the slightest ♥♥♥♥ about that in, oh, better part of a decade?), and the events & battlepass have become markedly worse over time.

For as healthy as the game is based on SteamDB player counts, this reeks of a studio milking the cow for every last drop before taking it behind the barn.

TL;DR Good game, extremely predatory company. Gaijin have repeatedly shoehorned in this or that vehicle that is significantly more potent than it's contemporaries, and then sells the solution only after sales drop for that vehicle. God awful balancing, map design is abysmal, and they have one of the worst moderation teams I've ever seen online. Stona & Wolfman in particular. Smin, good guy though.

Made this review TLDR in 2018, nearly halfway through 2023 and still the exact same. Now 2025, and still the exact same, BUT WORSE!
