Got chased into the basement by angry invisible boi, and forced into the locker. Spent the next 30 minutes doing a combination of hyperventilating, panicking, screaming and praying. Eventually spooky boi left, and as I tried to leave, he slammed the door in my face. I think I became the ghost after that, because everything I had left exited stage right. 10/10 would recommend

Got killed by a hacker and had the pleasure of being called childish when reported, and then got hacked out of the lobby. Very fun experience, would recommend

After some really banger moves from 343 in regards to fixing all the glaring issues with reach, and their overall attitude and spirit in making sure every release afterwards is as polished and ready as possible, I think Halo: MCC PC is the best way to play halo with mouse and keyboard.

I really wanted this launch to be crisp, I followed the collections development for months, and even pre ordered, but I can't ignore all the extremely fatal flaws with this release:

1. The audio mixing/sync is pretty much garbage at this point. I don't exactly know if it's just me, or if they mixed the audio at the studios 3rd floor bathroom, but obviously something royally screwed up.

2. The lag. Oh my lord will you experience a new level of input lag if you are not host. Almost unplayable at this stage. I know it's a first day launch, but having this level of unplayability on a game that needed to BANK on having COOP, and having it be a slog, is unacceptable


3. The lack of video configuration is down right disgraceful. No, having a slider with 3 "options" does not qualify as "good pc config options". I don't even think vsync works, let alone the frame rate cap. Now I haven't messed around too much with it, but I've heard from others that the framerate and other config related issues have really been plaguing them.

4. WHAT IS THAT PROGRESSION SYSTEM. Reach's credit system was fine. There was no reason to get rid of it, or have this garbage "Season" progression. It completely killed the point of ranking up and BUYING the armor yourself, now you just unlock it in a linear tier system. Don't even get me started with only getting XP in multiplayer. If you are a player that only plays firefight and campaign, prepare to stay at level 1


I know I haven't covered all the problems that this launch has, but I already feel like Im ranting too much, and I felt it only necessary to cover issues that I had at launch. I love this game to death. I love reach to death. I love Halo. But this launch could have been better...

I have gone ahead and read some of the reviews on this game, and I don't personally think this game is bad. It's something different, and the whole point is to go along on the journey, listen, and interpret the meaning behind some of the stuff here (which I can't do for the life of me XD). I think this game gets alot of hate that's not necessary. Just like with art, you need to come to your own understanding of the meaning here, and I really have to give credit to the developer for putting something out that goes against the norm. Keep on going man.
