Onimusha has to be my favourite game franchises of all time, something about it just never gets old. Played every game in the franchise, bought physical copies of each game, and I recommend it to anyone looking for something different, challenging, easy to pick up and satisfying to master. I hope they port the rest of the main game franchise, totally worth it.

If I had one complaint it would be that the version they went with was the original Onimusha: Warlords version present on the PS2 instead of going with the vastly improved Genma Onimusha version that expanded on the base with extra visuals, enemies, areas, mechanics, etc. It could be a licensing issue, but I suspect it was because the PC port of Warlords existed prior to the updated Steam release (easier job, sadly Genma Onimusha continues to only be playable on XBOX & XBOX consoles that can play XBOX Original games).

The only other Onimusha game that made it to PC was the 3rd game in the series (Onimusha: Demon Siege [Personal Favourite]). Here's hoping they bring the rest to PC.
