For Democrussy!

Honestly, great game. It's a lot of fun but can be at times a bit frustrating. You go into missions to be a little fascist who "defends their home and family values" by attacking other planets, destroying the local fauna and population, and eventually claiming victory for liberty with a big BOOM. So far so good. Very satirical, obviously.

That said, sometimes, the game crashes or players get kicked and can't rejoin and all of a sudden those 40 minutes you spent struggling to get all samples and other materials on top of the objective... gone. Oof.
Another part that I find frustrating is that sometimes enemies are just too overwhelming, as in the difficulty spikes quite a lot from time to time to really unreasonable levels. I had one mission somewhat recently where me and two other friends had to do an evactuation mission but the game kept spawning in more and more "hulk bruisers" and "hulk scorchers" which we just could not deal with. This was on a low difficulty mission, too, so incredibly annoying.

But it only happens sometimes and the devs have been responsive to ensure that we can defend managed democracy without any problems like that, so fixes roll out pretty often.

Now, I was prompted to get a PSN account when I got the game back in February. The game communicated to me that it was required to ensure stability (and probably liberty, hur hur) so I just went with it. Other players reported not having had that option or being able to skip it. I don't know what that is about. Either way, now it's mandatory because Sony is being very antidemocratic about it... with that said, the community managers and devs are in touch with Sony, so hopefully this should get resolved quickly. :)

Have a nice day!
