This is one of the biggest recommendations I can give. This is a gem from better times that has not only been brought back but has been expanded upon 100-fold. I maxed in this game and it only took me 7 years. Not that long.

One of the best games I have ever played. I have a gazillion mods and love turning my soldiers into samurai that can hack and slash aliens to bits. Tons of replayability here just in the vanilla game, but add mods and it is borderline endless. Hugely recommend it for anyone really, but if you like turn-based games, you can't go wrong.

One of the best ARPG's on the market, if not the best. I have many hours in the game, but have yet to reach level 50 on any of my characters. I still have not found a build that can sustain life long enough to reach level 50 on a hardcore character. This is not the game's fault, I am just very bad. 10/10
