This game rules. You'd think it's just schlock, which is great, but the whole game is well designed for exploration via rapid playthroughs.

Story game where the plot is in service to entertainment! Found a lot of what happened in this story to be solidly entertaining, be it through lunatic violence or a bit of intrigue. Very cool.

Game is good. It is ugly, rusty, bloody, with smooth movement and a bog standard weapon lineup with tons of enemies. There's something to be said about doing something simple but very, very well. In the sort time I been playing this I hold it close to Dusk.

This game is perfect. I wake up thrilled knowing I get to exist in a time when I can play Dusk.

This game is far better than I expected. This is a horror game bereft of the 'in your face' approach and tends to just mortify you in waves and sting you with tension for its own amusement. That's not to say the game doesn't try to kill you, this is a pretty difficult game (to play well), but even if you're dragging your feet you'll still make it through.

The characters fit the macabre setting, the tone of the whole thing is damp and dreary, there's a level of routine in maintaining your own survival while the world shifts to try and kill you in fresh new ways, and the whole time there's plot stuff to dig up. Highly recommended.

A really neat experience. Walking sim grade storytelling with puzzles that range from mundane to mindless. It's certainly enjoyable, though you'll see where the gameplay (what little of it there is) suffers from a general roughness of pace and flow. It's difficult for me to say exactly why the game doesn't move along smoothly, but you'll definitely find areas to get hung up on thinking 'okay I tried everything, now what?' and you'll just start hitting every door and switch you can find. I like the game, though. Cool setting, neat story.
