So far I have enjoyed exploring the zone, I can't answer much about the nostalgia of the game series since i have only briefly played S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat out of the original games and the standalone mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Anomaly. The absense of A-Life is abit of a negative from all I heard it was a big part of the game but fixes to that has been promised to be adressed in the future, after playing a few consecutive hours the game seems to have memory leak issues and I drop to 5 fps until I restart the game. Other than that I haven't had any major issues or bugs, I have confidence that the devs will apply aproporiate fixes to various issues with the game. It is still a game I would recommend to my friends i enjoy it and the best game (in my opinion) to be released this year.


Things I love about the game and that I think stand out:

-Seamless open world experience.
-Big world with lots of locations and points of interest.
-Beautiful Graphics.
-The atmosphere is unique and spot on.
-Amazing and immersive sounds.
-Having to think about solving "puzzles" such as finding keys or door codes.
-Gun play feels great.
-AI's survival instinct feels good, and they are not "DUMB"
-No training wheels for dummies use your brain.
- no virtue signaling and real life politics. (refreshing)

-Things I don't like about the game:

-The day and night cycle could be longer. It's so short it takes away immersion and feels unnatural.
-The economy needs a bit of a rebalance, money is hard earned, which is not a bad thing, but repairs cost too much.-(Has been rebalanced)
-Gear repairing is handled very unsatisfactory way.
-Randomly spawing in enemies around you.
-Absence of A-Life, wich also makes the game feel abit empty. (has been promised to be fixed)
-Stealth does not work well (Key element).
-the weird headshot sound (it's so out of place for a game like this).
