I don't understand why a lot of people are angry at this game is a meatgrinder. This sort of game is great, it gives more of a feeling of accomplishment than a game that throws bosses/boss like enemies at you nonstop. All of the enemies are easy to kill, yes, but several give a certain danger to being even near you, like the Taser that can empty your magazine if you aren't prepared, or the Cloaker that instantly downs you. Several people are mad probably because this game is different than other FPS games of today. Sure there is no pvp, but I'm not sure how it would even work on this game. Plus it makes this game all the better, if you ask me. The guns are also very realistic, with some hiccups and oversights here and there, but the quality outmatches Call of Duty and Battlefield several times to one. Example: It actually shows the amount of ammo left in clear magazines and on most belt fed guns. It is also the only game I have ever played that actually got the damn hammer on the back of the handle of the RPG-7 correct, as well as the fact that the M134 does NOT actually require spin up time, which is for some reason depicted most, if not all, other games that has it. After several years, this game is still fun and is still going strong, with constant developer support and updates every few weeks. The quality of the updates also have not gone down at all, with each new gun having unique animations, each heist having a different story that feels somehow connected to everything (minus Lab Rats and Prison Nightmare, of course), and characters that have their own personality. The weapon mods are what also make this game so customizable. You can mod guns to fit specific requirements that will help with a specific use, such as a gun with an insane concealment so that you could bring a massive gun as well along during a stealth mission. The possibilites are endless. This game is great, and I do not see anything going down any time soon.

I'm not saying they didn't. But a lot of games do it today on a much worse scale. In this case, it was continuously growing options for a few bucks at a time adding small stuff that made it seem worth it. With other games, you pay the price of the game again to get the true ending to a story. Then theres Saints Row 4, which was supposed to be a DLC but they said "Eh screw it, people are stupid enough to buy a $20 dlc for $60, plus more dlc. DO IT."

I'm not saying jack shit about graphics, I'm saying combat, gameplay and fun factor outmatch the majority of most FPS games developed today. Also, learn the definition of dead. Dead means no updates, no players, no replayability. This game has all of those, and will continue to grow with great support by Overkill. They said they will stop support in late 2018, so thats when it will be on its death bed. It has more than a year before that happens, though.

Old yes, Dead, no. Didn't you read the announcement? A few days ago they broke their old record of most amount of players on at once, and they passed 500,000,000 community members.

Ah, I see... But I still think its a good thing, since well, $45 vs about $200, and that includes the game, which is $20, so you pretty much got $200 for $15. That isn't much at all.

You can still buy it normally, just click the 'more dlc in store' section in your library.
