Even if this weren't a blatant trashy and honestly predatory money printer for Rockstar,
Even if they hadn't blocked Linux (and the Steam Deck by proxy) players from playing their game by turning on BattlEye's "no WINE actually" toggle,

If you're getting this game for anything other than singleplayer and modding that singleplayer,
Don't. You're wasting your time and life.

A fun and intense top-down shooter. I'd pay money for this if there was an option to :3

Well, I guess I was pre-emptive. As per the steamdb page (https://steamdb.info/sub/137730/info/) HD2 is still unpurchasable in my country, and many others.

Now that Sony has taken back their demands, I'm willing to recommend the game again. It's extremely fun and definitely one of the best to come out in recent times.

Sony, keep your grubby mitts off of the game. Do nothing and profit, do something and get punted :3

As of now I'm changing my review. I cannot, according to Sony's TOS, play this game once the linking requirements go through. My country, alongside well over 100 others, aren't available as PSN countries.

This is a change brought down by Sony, and the base game is still great. However, to anyone considering the game right now: Don't. Until Sony backtracks, until we as a community can overcome the powers that be, do not buy into this mess.

A wonderful game, with questionable balancing and a few issues. as of 01-03-2024.

A lot of the guns feel less useful than either of the two early Shotguns (Breaker and... something), and some of the Stratagems are effectively useless right now since they're either too inaccurate or don't deal damage to enemies consistently enough.

For example, the 380 orbital barrage is currently as effective as throwing rocks at the enemy. Sure, if it lands right on top of an enemy it might kill them. Sometimes the AoE of it will even work, and you'll get a couple.
The same goes for other weapons that rely on a large splash radius rather than direct damage.

A fun game to play whenever; getting a run or two in is always fun.

This review was originally written during Early Access, but it still stands firm. Nova Drift is an amazing time killer or just something to peck at to relax. The OST is great, the gameplay is fun.

And I love the design of the boss on wave 120; I won't say more though, so find out for yourself.

An addictive and fun game... if you're the right kind of person.

I backed this game when it was on Kickstarter, and have been playing it ever since. It has been an amazing experience, and very a very fun game to play.
But, if you can't focus for long periods of time, it's certainly difficult to get started or play the game.

But, if you are... good luck, and have fun!

And remember... The Factory Must Grow.

It is an excellent game and fun to play; would very much recommend if you enjoy this kind of game!
