I never wrote a review for this game, so consider this that tales of a player rather then a recommendation (or lack there of) to play it.

I befriended so many great people playing this game. Years later I still talk to many of them. This game had a core that really asked you to be skillful and interested in it's mechanics. That core was great, and those of us who enjoyed it had a blast seeing what we could do with it. Hundreds of hours even when the game was at it's lowest. This game just didn't have people working on it that desired a small committed group of players, they wanted that big landsand. It never would come. This games skill floor was to high and it's ceiling higher so. So with devs who didn't update it when it needed it, a player base to small to grow, and some minor issues with gameplay the game couldn't hold itself up. Servers were too dead to find matches anymore and thus playing just became impossible.

Don't buy this amazing, you can't really play it anymore. Which is a bummer. I miss my time with it. I don't play multiplayer games much anymore because nothing reaches the joy this gave. I found my gaming community because of it. So it has a special place in my heart. I'll miss Hood Outlaws and Legends.
