Listen to what youtubers say when they say that Immortal Empires - not the base game, the mode you unlock if you own the other two games - is the ultimate Warhammer (and dare I say Total War) experience. Don't listen when they say that Realm of Chaos (the base campaign if you only own this game) is the worst piece of strategy you ever played. The new races are fun, the new "borrow whatever unit" diplomacy is a blast, the campaign (save - cough cough - Realm of Tzeentch) and its tower defense-style battles are fun the first couple times you play them. Later you may learn to subvert it by using portals instead of doing missions. But yeah, the meat is on Immortal Empires - they're now discussing making it open for those who own only this game and I couldn't agree more. If you want to wait until then, it's undestandable, but it's not bad as it is now.
