This is the only game where I spend more time reconnecting than playing, the connection is very fragile and the match drops all the time, it is rare to be able to finish a match. To make things worse, once you are dropped from a match, you cannot go back on it. And this is the only game that I have where this happens. Not recommended.

The online gameplay lag and the AI are way more acceptable than the previous game (MOWAS2) and the CTA-Gates of Hell DLC. The Classical game mode is the best one. It is a shame that there is almost no one playing it.

You will need a lot of patience to play this game, since it has:
- 1 - Bad AI: You can have dozens of individual soldiers in a match, but you need to manually do almost everything for them, like throwing grenades, using AT, and path finding. If the soldier is inside a building or next to big objects, it is almost guaranteed that he will mess up anything you command him to do, especially if it is using explosives. Having to manually control your soldiers for basic things makes this game more of a FPS than a RTS, since you will spend more time controlling soldiers individually than controlling your army as a whole and making strategic maneuvers;
- 2 - Multiplayer LAG: This game is very hard to play in the multiplayer if you or your enemy have a ping higher than 100ms. The game lags a LOT and also it seems like your soldiers will react a lot slower to the enemy in situations like these. Adding this with the fact that the AI is already not great, you will really need a LOT of patience to play PVP here, since a lot of things will not go as you planned. The game really needs a lot more optimization;
- 3 - Questionable decisions of development: I play this game almost since it has been launched (actually I played the original Call to Arms Beta back in 2016), and these aforementioned problems exist since its origin, and I did not notice a lot of improvement in the AI and the LAG over the years. I have seen a lot of new content being added in the game, but the main problems still persists. Why focus on bringing new content and not focus on fixing the main problems (AI, LAG, optimization)? It does not matter if there is new content in the game, because if the gameplay is broken, it will still be broken with the new content...;
I think the game really has potential, but I have not seen decent improvement throughout the years (even though the game has frequent updates), so I cannot recommend it. If the game was still in its Beta version, these things would be more acceptable, but for a launched game, it just doesn't work as it should.

It is the most different of the Souls games, but still fun to play, both PvE and PvP. Worth it.
