Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is, at its core, more Elden Ring.
This comes with all its Advantages, but also its downsides.

As per usual by now, the World, Enemies, Weapons, Bosses, Skylines and Spells all look phenomenal.
Even with no astounding Fidelity, Elden Rings Art Department knocks it out of the Park and continues to do so in the DLC:
The most enjoyable part of it is without a doubt still the blind experience.

What the DLC does exceptionally well:
- The NPCs and the general Narrative is much more strongly tied together compared to the basegame, without really sacrificing anything.
- The afore mentioned Visuals
- The new Weapons are mostly all really great and offer wider playstyles, movesets etc. It expands very well upon what was in the base game
- The OSTs improved significantly
- The Bosses on average are better, although harder and not without flaw.
- The world is more connected, tied together and has more verticality to it. A more condensed experience at times.
- Smaller dungeons experienced a significant upgrade and are very fun to do now

What the DLC does not well:
- The Final Bossfight currently is just not right, it has alot of issues in its final phase that just feel cheap and not properly tested.
- The game drops frames at certain times or places a little too much
- Some areas really shouldnt be as empty as they ended up being
- The general Bossfight philosophy is sadly more Spectacle over Gameplay. Fights lack alot of Rythm compared to other Fromsoft Titles.
- There is some not minor recycling of Bosses and Mobs. Not as huge as in the basegame, but it can get a little eye-rolling at times ( Looking at you, Agheel Dragon )

Overall, even with a Frustrating Factor right at the end, Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is the single best Souls-like expansion and by no surprise very much recommendable.

Dredge is charming and has a great premise.
What first appears like an ocean of endless depth to explore, ends up a very shallow puddle instead.

The game is incredibly short and is very, very frontloaded.
The Monsters lose their wow effect very very early, the gameplay mechanics do not improve and the map is just not that big to explore.

The Ending and final sequence are incredibly rushed and undercooked, ending in a very sour dissapointing experience.

The only thing this game reliably provides is fish to catch, with variations of the same easy mini game. If you like this tedium grind, buy the game. If you want anything beyond that, i strongly suggest to hold off.

Pentiment is, like its inspirations, a true work of art.

An expansive Story with diverse, interesting Characters that change a lot over time combined with an amazingly detailed Art Direction and Sound Design. Pentiment manages to immerse you in the historic period it plays in while incorperating many Aspects of said History and the Myths around it.

If you like the Artstyle, dont mind reading ( a lot ), Enjoy a Story that your choices truly affect,
Then Pentiment is a game for you.

Just outright terrible performance at the time of posting this.
On recommended Specs (Yes the Drivers are updated) this game runs well only sometimes, and that sometimes is very generous.
The entire starting area and some smaller or larger segments of the game further on run downright awfully on the lowest performance settings possible.

The game itself has its ups and downs but without more performance patches it's not recommendable no matter what.

Update: Performance has not gotten better with hotfixes and the game crashed once and corrupted my savefile. A technical piece of Garbage that even without any of these issues would still be subpar when it comes to Bosses, Level Design or general Encounters.

This review is as spoiler-free as I could make it.

The perhaps single most unique gaming experience there is.
I have never seen a game this polished in every single one of its aspects.
The perhaps only weakness, if that's even the appropriate term here, is its finite playtime and the limits to its replayability by design.
But this is very much a non-factor compared to what the game does well. Which is a lot:

From the base game to the DLC, Outer Wilds is an amazing Journey of Discovery. Constantly filled with click moments, that feel as rewarding as they did the first time around, right until the end.

The strongest aspect of the game is its Design, the way it lets the player loose to do what they please on their own, while at the same time always guiding them subtely. It allows the Player's intrigue to take over and lets them decide what they feel like discovering in this beautifully crafted little universe.
Every single Nomai-Text uncovered in the game is not a single piece of meaningless lore, but rather something that ends up pointing to a bigger piece of a very intricate puzzle.

Its flawless design is supported by the game's simple yet satisfying and polished mechanics, to which the player is introduced, by choice, on the starting planets little tutorials.
The simplicity of the mechanics plays to Outer WIlds strengths as the player never feels overwhelmed by what they can do, as it's very simple to grasp. Yet the puzzles spread throughout the universe use these mechanics to their fullest and probably go even beyond.
This all is supported by a very satisfying movement, especially in Zero-G but also with gravity.

Outer Wilds also Includes a very well-put-together visual aesthetic, with a stylized and light art style that makes the game butter-smooth in terms of performance.
It is generally criminal that a game developed in Unity can run this well, while also supporting a seamless universe full of intricate Planets who all have their own complex environments that have to be simulated in real-time. which they managed to pull off anyways.

Not to be outdone by its Visuals, Outer Wilds also boasts an amazingly atmospheric Sound Design and Soundtrack. Which at certain parts of the game can and will give genuine goosebumps.

Outer Wilds additionally has an amazingly written universe, the bigger narrative as well as the smaller substories, and the ancient dialogues you uncover all managed to keep me invested, leading to one of the best payoff endings I can think of. Which may get you genuinely emotional.

And to top it all off this game does it all again, perhaps even better, in its DLC.

If exploration and discovery are your Thing, and you don't mind investigating on your own, then I can only recommend Outer Wilds to you. It is best played completely blind.
