As always, this is only my honest opinion.

Grew up playing Mario 64 and/or Psychonauts? Stop reading here and buy the game.

A Hat in Time is one of those games with huge levels, that have small missions to obtain an item at the end of the mission before being brought back to the main hub... Personally, I love those as they play the strings of nostalgia in my heart.

Game play: Fun and fast with a good flow feel to it. If you're someone who's like me and likes to dive everywhere you know what I'm talking about. Game is quick to pick up on with controls that aren't too difficult. It can be a bit annoying rotating between hats if you're someone who isn't used to leaving an analog stick tilted until you leave the menu. You grow to get used to it though. The game is somewhat flexible in what you can do and when you can do. If throws in elements from other kind of games like Zelda where you cannot complete a task without finding the item to complete the task. You are not bound to one area and are absolutely encouraged to look through other areas and coming back to finish the one you started... There are some customization options also, with a workshop to come.

Story: The story does make you feel for the antagonist a bit in a very humorous way(?) I mean their reasons are justified, but what they do ends up being a little extra towards the end. Which is fine for plot reasons.

Music: Great. The music is dream like and wonderful. I cannot applaud the music enough.

Faults: Every game has some faults. For me personally it would be some of the mechanics. I'm usually a player with little patience and tend to try to do stuff as quick as possible, and the game is very good at keeping up, until I miss that one swing because the game didn't register that it was a hook-able spot. Camera might also be your nightmare, but we all remember the camera for Mario 64, so if you managed to master that monstrosity growing up, this is cakewalk.

Overall I recommend this game. I really wish to see more for this game, like extra levels, but the way it is now? I enjoyed it. :)

Need a non perverted (or perverted) reason to strip people? Look no further, Akiba's Trip is for you.

Pros-

-Game is heavily influenced by Akihabara Japan culture. I mean the game is literally mapped out from actual Akiba. Get some culture in you, basement dwellers!

-Very good customization. There are many customizable features in this game unlocking more when you unlock new game plus, that's right, new game plus (yay for replayable games). Some of the customization option are but not limited to cross dressing, using other AI models of the game, methods of stripping, etc.

-Multiple endings.

-Has an actual plot with reasons why you're stripping chicks (and guys) to their underwear in broad daylight. So you can buy this game with a clear mind that your friends wont judge you (much) for some anime tiddies.

-The DLC that was introduced for the PS version are added to this version for free.

-This game has a sequel in the works "Akiba's Beat". Not sure if it will have a pc port or if it'll have any correlation to Akiba's Trip, still, it's nice to know it's good enough for some sort of sequel.

Cons

-Game crashes at times. At least it did for me. So be sure to save when ever possible.

-For those perverts out there looking for anime nips, sorry.

Honestly this game's great for any Japanese culture enthusiast.

Chronology is about a man who wishes to correct his mistake of ignoring the fact his mentor took control of an item they have both worked on. Your goal is to go and fix your mistake by going through the present and the past and solving puzzles to stop him.

Even though Chronology is extremely short, I enjoyed it. It felt like a childs story book. The art and music for Chronology is really wonderful and fits with the theme of time. I would assume this game is built towards a younger audience because of it's simple puzzles and puns, which is fine. I'm not sure if it's worth $10, but hopefully the developers will add more..

(Even though they havent done anything since launch other than patch a few things to actually make the game beatable).
