I don't get it or like it and that's OK! Maybe you will like it. Maybe you like mindlessly shooting bugs while a bunch of roleplaying dorky teammates shout "DEMOCRACY!" into your ear.

This game is like if one of Dale Gribble's conspiracies were real from King Of The Hill...I can almost hear him Dale:"Hey Hank you know the government is slowly injecting hormones into our water supply don't you? They're doing it so they can make an army of super space marines to exterminate bugs on other planets and spread democracy" Hank:"Shutup Dale"

The gameplay itself I found so mindnumbing, boring and very repetitive. However I can see this being an enjoyable experience for other people...just not me. I can also appreciate the game's low price tag.

This is just a shameless, soulless, cash grab. Worse graphics than 2005, lag, 3 servers.

Another slap in the face to a fan base that stays loyal despite getting screwed over by Disney, EA, Kathleen Kennedy etc. That loyalty though is tired of being tested

18 mins in I have a headache from the graphics/brightness/motion blur and no settings to adjust any of those...buy palworld instead

This has been a better open world experience than Violet and Scarlet. Pokemon is a 100 billion dollar franchise I want you to think about that ONE HUNDRED BILLION....and violet/scarlet was the best they could do?!?!?

Here is this indie company making what violet and scarlet should have been. No wonder I like Digimon more than Pokemon cause it's clear after playing Palworld that Pokemon does the least amount of effort/work and have done so for over 20 years

This DLC could have contained a wet fart and I still would have bought it because this amazing dev team needs all the support it can get for making such an amazing game

I'm the biggest digimon nerd you will ever meet...and I hated this game. How was this delayed for so long cause it completely missed the mark. Long tedious menus, boring battles that can be done on auto, only the main quest is voice acted everything else is not and just in Japanese voice too. Yet somehow this took over 4+ years to make? I couldn't make it past Chapter 4 it was just too much of a drag for me.

Bandai should sell Digimon to someone else cause they don't know what they are doing with it anymore. IMO Digimon Ghost Game anime sucks, Digimon Adventure 2020 sucked, Digimon Tri sucked, This game sucks. And again I am a super Digimon nerd saying this.


I don't get it Bandai, how do you come out with amazing games like Elden ring but Digimon never gets its moment in the sun? Give Digimon the love and the money that it needs cause it is a million times better than Pokemon but nobody is ever gunna get a chance when this is the best you have to show.

With all that said I still recommend the game because Digimon needs every penny it can get in order to stand any chance to stay relevant and compete in the Pokemon saturated real world we live in. And who knows maybe the story picked up but it was a very long tedious start.
