Lucid Sol 最近的评测

I started Bethesda games with Morrowind on the original Xbox, later getting it for PC and being there for every release forward. I loved Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout NV (not Bethesda but point stands) and Skyrim, I started to lose the spark with Fallout 4. I couldn't put my finger on it, but at least it still felt like it had the bones of a good Bethesda game. I didn't play Fallout 76 as I had no interest in a multiplayer Fallout 4.

Starfield has absolutely destroyed my expectations of Bethesda and Elder Scrolls 6. How many years was this game in development? The story is mediocre (which is subjective), the setting is boring (again subjective), the combat is okay, the performance is abysmal (I have an OC'd i9-9900k and 3080, I am appalled at how poorly this game runs). The character faces are just creepy. We took 1 step forward with a voiceless protagonist, to take 17 steps back with the Oblivion style face zoom conversations, and just horrifying facial animations. The best part of the game is the ship building, which is great on the surface, but still missing real interior customization of any kind.

Just truly disappointed. I still hope Elder Scrolls 6 is good, but if my expectations are low enough I can't be disappointed again, right?
