The most predatory in game store I have seen in a play to play rpg. A whole class locked behind a paywall after purchasing the plus membership, what a joke.

We can understand being turned off by the ESO Plus membership available for ESO and feeling it is needed to get the Necromancer class.

An ESO Plus Membership is not required to play The Elder Scrolls Online or to purchase the Necromancer class. The Necromancer class is only available to be purchased with Crowns from the in-game Crown Store and is not included with ESO Plus membership or with the purchase of any Chapters.

Players can still enjoy ESO without ESO Plus, but we do feel that DLC Game Pack and Chapter content offer great value and additional experiences for our players. While an ESO Plus membership allows you to access DLC Game packs, DLC can also be purchased seperately and an ESO Plus membership is not necessary to access DLC. loot boxes? did you looked into previews of its content? last time i played you could browse ALL its content and see what can be there and relative chances of any its content . was there any items or things that give ADVANTAGE? only xp scrolls (common) or potions that is also common rarity and players can make similar (or better) potions with alchemy , all other stuff is cosmetic in them

necromancer class was part of elsvier chapter and buying that chapter was only way to get that class, same was with druid and morrowind chapter . now that its past chaper you can get that class without owning chapter , thru ingame store - crown shop. if you buy curent chapter (upgrade option if already own game) then you get current chapter and previous ones

so its either free dlc or its a paywall? and what if dlc is not free and does have new and good stuff? its a PAYWALL!!!! common people, do you expect that devs keep game online and keep on adding new and big content just from game sales that is 8 years old for free?

This comment section is something else. Trusting a random review ON STEAM, not even looking into how things really work and stating they'll won't buy the game. You know what? Are the people actually complaining about the Necro being locked behind a pay wall completely new to mmo's lol? Class's being locked behind dlc like expansions has been around since mmo's conception lol. It is how it has always been. Wrath of the Lich King had Death Knight and that was way back in 2008 lol.

Was bout to buy this on steam summer sale but glad I didn't, a pay to play game with a pay shop that sells core game mechanics? Dogshit
