My hype for this game was insane, I wanted this to be great. I have hundreds of hours in every paradox game.

This isn't a game, it's a slow slide show put together by a child on meth. This isn't paradox, this isn't playable. I guess all empires fall some time, and this was paradox's fall. At least the zoom details on the map are nice? You know that scene in star wars where padmae tells anakin he is breaking her heart?. That's me and rome. I got depression, dropped out of school, started doing drugs, divorced my family, and sold my dog because of this game.

Having this be dlc is the true dishonor.

The game art is great, I want to like this game. The town building is great. The massive problem is the slow grind of combat. You don't know what items you will get. You slowly go over and over. It ends you look to check if you have resources then craft a basic resource out of those. A loss sets your % back and you need 100% to fight a boss. A boss is often too strong at random and kills you and knocks your 100 to 91% so you have to do 2 more runs. You can't auto send your party. Fashion shows are a very rewarding feature if you win but have no balance what so ever. I got second place in my underwear with only shoes over my full plate full special armor char. There is not much to do but sit and wait. I feel like the game is being unfairly treated but it needs work.
