I can't quite put my love for this game into words. Despite the flaws that it has, it's something I always keep coming back to. Hope it manages to stay relevant for many years to come.

Early Access Review
One of the rare cases of amazing Early Access games. Still in development but completely worth it in current state.

When I saw this game for the first time, I thought it's just a "meme" cash grab kind of game, which will provide you with about 5 minutes of amusement. But let me tell you, that's nowhere near the truth.

✓ The game is actually quite hard.
✓ Full story mode.
✓ Several game modes. (there's like 5)
✓ Free updates.
✓ Low price tag.
✓ Devs listen to feedback.

Also, I've seen few people say "bad controls" in the recommendation. I disagree, you can change the control scheme as you please. The difficulty of moving around is clearly a design choice, just like in Surgeon Simulator.

After Surgeon Simulator, this game convinces me that Bossa Studios are a great development studio and I am excited to see what they manage to create in the future.

I heard about this game being in development several years ago, and it got me very excited. A spiritual successor to Neverhood, the game of my childhood? Hell yeah! Released 20 years later, technology has improved so much in this time, surely it's something to look forward to, right?

Unfortunately that's just not the case. It's inferior to Neverhood in EVERY POSSIBLE WAY.
In Neverhood you are exploring a world. In Armikrog, you're exploring a building...
Did I say exploring? Not really, you're just solving a puzzle after puzzle so you can solve another puzzle.
Armikrog is shorter and smaller, but recycles more assets than Neverhood (barnacles, the slider puzzle, those orange cube creatures, generator, then cart passage in each of the areas - you're basically doing the same thing 3 times)
The Neverhood protagonist doesn't speak, yet somehow manages to display more emotion than both protagonists with voices together...
Somehow Armikrog manages to be inferior even from a technical standpoint, released with many bugs and oversights (after 2 delays for just bugfixing).
Little things like the cursor made from clay, or the amazing Neverhood intro animation are missing as well.

The puzzles (other than the one where you can't get back to the area where you're supposed to find solution - what's up with that?), claymation and music (when it works) are alrigh. That's about it. That's not enough to make me recommend something that had so much potential and wasted it. Buy it only if you've never played Neverhood AND it's at least 50% off.

Beautiful enviroment, great voice acting and music, stellar performance and graphics.
Gameplay is just as amazing, you move super quick and the assisted jumping works really well. Puzzles range in difficulty from very simple to quite challenging.
I really like the way the game tells the story. You start knowing nothing, but if you pay attention you quickly start figuring out what is really going on. Another aspect of the game I enjoyed a lot is that it questions some of your beliefs and makes you think about things you would maybe not normally think about.

The 6 sides of Super Hexagon...
On one side, the game can be completed in just 6 minutes.
On the other side, you'll probably have to spend hours upon hours to finish it.
On one side, the game has probably some of the best soundtracks I heard in a game.
On the other side, you'll rarely get to hear the whole thing.
On one side, the game can be quite frustrating.
On the other, however, it's extremely addictive.

Early Access Review
Extremely fun and addictive . The game tests many of your abilities at once. Reflexes, memory, observation skills, pattern recognition, rhytm. Therefore it's no surprise it feels very rewarding when you start getting better and get further. Oh yeah, and the music is damn good.
