The game isn't terrible, if you want to build coasters with a better editor than pc1 and some QoL improvement it's ok, but it is a disappointment. Ignoring all the bugs, that tbh aren't that bad, the content really doesn't justify a sequel. Yeah, the graphics are significantly better, mainly thanks to the improved illumination, the scaling tool is great and the coaster smoothing is ages above pc1 but the rest of the game feels the same or unfinished.
Problems from the first game that people asked to be fixed for years are still in the game. Why can't I go straight into a drop in a log flume? Why can't water coasters transition smoothly into water? Why stations are so slow and separate load and unload stations will be added only after complaints?
The game lacks too many rides or ride features that have been standard in the theme park world for years: Intamin's blitz coasters can do fast switch track and swing launches like it's nothing while here I can't even remake expedition Everest. Not even multidimensional coasters function as they should, there is no way to have swing launches and switch tracks block your train making them unable to even recreate existing coasters of the same type like uncharted at PortAventura.
The game is full of things like this, errors, problems and things missing that shouldn't.
Detached from the world in which it exists it would be a great game but as is it's not enough
