This is truly one of the best stories ever told in a videogame AND outside of it. It's not just what the story does but how it's told. I've owned it a total of 3 times now (newest here on PC) and every time it's such an experience I can't put it down till I'm through it entirely. On top of the incredible story is some of the best stealth/aggressive combat in existence. AI is smart and relentless, the animations are top-notch, and the sound design is outstanding. Just some truly immersive gameplay.
