Fun Castlevania inspired overlord game, a perfect game for me as both Overlord and Castlevania are some of my favorite Anime and Games.

For some of what it does right, you have got some very good looking Castlevania inspired pixel art. The music is decent, and its a good look into overlord lore; with places that have not yet been visited in the anime. One Example of this being the fire portion of Nazarick. Its also a nice side story about a character that gets forgotten after season 1. Combat feels like a Castlevania game, with Symphony of the Night in mind. Though when doing the first boss fight I often found myself taking attacks that question if they were even possible to avoid, could be I just suck though.

For some of the cons, the most immediate issue is the key binding. This game clearly feels like it should be played with a controller, though if you prefer keyboard you can rebind them. Right shift to find the settings menu the game doesn't tell you . Another issue is the movement, it feels very awkward at times. This is most obvious when your trying to climb ledges on moving objects, like the chandeliers in the starting area. Ignoring swinging chandeliers puzzles, its otherwise pretty nice feeling.
The game does not have voice acting for dialogue between characters as far as i am aware, however Clementine herself is voiced by the original Japanese voice actor in combat and such. The collectable "memories" also suck, literally just being screencaps from the episodes that she was in from the anime.

I bought this game hoping for Skyrim, but real life. But all I really got was real life. Saving is very limited and combat sucks as you get killed easily, at the start at least. The story i experienced was interesting though, so it might get pretty good further in. All in all, bad gameplay, from the perspective of an Elder Scrolls fan at least, but good story.
