The bastard of Titanfall and Quake.
Battles in this game are the purest gameplay pleasure, full of dopamine.

Masterpiece adrenaline arena-shooter with breathtaking movement. Open game world with floating arena islands scattered around it. So between battles you can enjoy parkour while you make your way to the next island.
Leveling is done by finding new weapons and perks (which greatly affect gameplay and playstyle). Also, finding special spheres that increase your mobility (number of extra jumps in the air and grappling hook range). And finally, killing colossal bosses, each of which will reward you with a special elemental ability.

Among the cons I can name:
- The duration of the game. Credits can be seen already in 2-3 hours after the beginning. And despite the fact that after them new battles are opened, I finished it 100% in ~ 8 hours. However, this lack is negated by custom maps from the community in the Steam workshop.
- The graphics may seem too simple and unsightly.
- Forget about clear narration and even less about staged cutscenes. They are not here.

This review was originally negative and written in support of those players in whose countries PSN is not available.
-----------------
An excellent cooperative game. Quality shooting with a unique inertial weapon handling system; realistic enemy damage; enough variety in the enemies themselves. All of the above combined allows you to constantly generate colorful, literally cinematic combat situations. Not to mention that the game itself is quite beautiful.

The cons can be named the fact that the missions are quite repetitive. In fact, all missions essentially are about having to either destroy the target/targets or protect the target/targets.
Also, progression hits a "ceiling" rather quickly when there is nothing else to unlock but level-ups. And if you can't enjoy the gameplay itself, at that point the game may be over for you.

The DLC is controversial, but I'll give it a positive rating.

It is essentially a series of trials, each one requiring you to pray at altars that are scattered throughout the world in order to start. The trials themselves range from downright boring or frustrating to quite interesting. All of those test bosses that you fight directly face-to-face are very well done.

But.

The boss mage, colossus, and sphere are boring and often unfair to the player.
- The mage's attacks are poorly readable (especially those of his adds). The boss itself is boringly designed - just a big damage-absorbing sponge standing still.
- Colossus is just a few waves with a lot of mobs. This challenge is the second most boring.
- But the leader in boringness is undoubtedly the last challenge. First it's a long platforming section (in a game not meant for platforming, hear me). Then a very long charge of three crystals, during which, the sphere (boss) is constantly hitting you with various projctiles and waves of mobs spawning at you. Due to the fact that the simultaneous mob's and sphere's attacks can catch you in a stun-lock, the most advantageous tactic is just running around in a circle while waiting for the crystal to charge. Moreover, after charging all the crystals you again have to just run and dodge the attacks of the sphere until it breaks. In the end, the whole battle looks like just running around in circles. The soundtrack from Benny Hill would have looked quite appropriate on this challenge.

The bosses of the other challenges I generally liked. I'd especially like to mention the warrior with the spear. She has a great moveset. And when I also took the spear and at one point we took turns parrying each other's counterattacks, I even felt for a second that I was playing Sekiro.
But what's really annoying is the testing part BEFORE the boss battle (usually several waves of mobs or a test of dodging lasers, etc.). Theese parts are long, boring, and what's most annoying is that if you die from the boss you have to replay them all over again.

To summarize.
++ Most bosses are good.
--- But there are a couple of exceptions.
--- The need to re-kill mobs before the boss in case of death is total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
+ The new weapon enhancement system is fine.
• Costume from the DLC and the exterior of the weapon, I personally liked it.
