Yeah, I have hundreds of hours in. Is can be fun if you play it like minecraft. But the reason for the bad review is because it's supposed to be an RPG.

There are no branching stories, that sucks but I would be fine the stories were good. I mean linear stories are less work so thoes stories should be good right? They aren't.

A lovers spat were you only talk to one of them (the other doesnt physically exist in the game at all.)

A 9 year old orphan that has survived on a planet by herself after watching her parents die and getting robbed by pirates? 2 minutes of dialog later and she has adjusted to a normal life, happily reading books in the faction communal home. No dedicated guardian, no trust issues, no further interaction possible.

Stories are either uninteresting, or completely lacking in any emotion. And none of them have any consequences. The best you get is 2 unique voice lines from a handful of people after you do their quest.

... Ship building is a blast, and where 80% of my time was spent. Base building is pointless but can be fun. Combat is average for a shooter. Space combat is fun the first 10 times but is too shallow and just becomes a chore. There soo many things that feel like they were great at one time but were too difficult to balance so they just simplified everything.

I was looking forward to this game series being a compleet package of the warhammer universe. Like they said it would be. But that doesn't look like its going to happen. The compay is too greedy, charging 150% more for less, pulling support leaving numerous bugs with no dev team to fix them, and threatening to end development altogether. Yeah... we aren't getting a finished product, we aren't getting what was promised.. again.

Ubisoft connect won't let me play, cant return it because trying to launch it from steam counts as time played while i tried to get ubisoft connect to work. Never actually launched the game. Thanks.

Not 1 but 2 third party launchers are required to play this decade old game, making it very difficult to play. On top of that the gameplay is extremely shallow. Fine for a child, but the adult content has me confused as to who this game is meant for??

Lots different from the first game, more difficult. but EVERYTHING is better in this game. Campaign is actually just a tutorial, most of the story is in Chaos theory mode. TONS of content. Beautiful.

If guests are stopping in weird places to view animals. re-install. it fixed the issue for me.

Best MMO, even if you're not a Lord of the Rings fan. it does't overcharge for things. I played for 9 years without making a purchase, but was 100% satisfied with my purchase when I did. You can grind for store currency and I enjoy doing that too. AND the community is amazing, very friendly and helpful to newcomers.

Bought on sale. still not worth it. It reminded me of Metal Gear, but clunky, poorly paced, unintresting, and has outdated mechanics for its time. The story isnt worth it either.

THIS! Is Super HD Dragon Quest. I recomend watching the Angry Joe Review, but keep in mind this is not the version he reviews, this is the updated version. This Game is all about the epic boss battles, and they are the best part of the game in every way. they also have more graphical detail than even the hero. Just remember to tell your pawn to shut up ASAP, there's a 'Knowledge chair' in the first inn. (Just answer 'NO' to any yes/no quetions they ask). also note that the 2 other pawns you get are temporary, they dont level up. so change them out for stronger ones each time you level up a few times, and dont try to upgrade there equipment, its a complete waste. THIS GAME IS DEFINETLY WORTH $30, (I would have paid $60), SO IF ITS ON SALE GET IT FOR SURE1!

Beat it in 16 hours, and i explored everything. the game is fun but easy and short. if you kill everything you can then you will overlevel and be a little OP. I recomend Following the story first then explore after.
