After 29+ Hours playing through and getting 100% completion, I highly recommend any Star Wars fan or even and LEGO fan to purchase this game.

The last LEGO game I played was Indiana Jones 2 which came out in 2009, so I haven't had any experience with the update mechanics and the voices. When the reveal trailer came out I was skeptical at the game having voices, but after playing through it doesn't make much of a difference.

Pros
  • Nostalgia. Any game that can make me feel like a kid again playing through the older LEGO Star Wars games is a winner for me.
  • Graphics are ace. Never thought a LEGO game could look so nice.
  • Gameplays fun & varied. Throughout each mission you have a platformer, cover shooter & sometimes vehicle warfare. You should never be bored during any mission.
  • Funny. Througout the missions their are lots of funny little moments that will make you chuckle.
  • SO MUCH CONTENT. When I finished the campaign mission through (Prologue - Chapter 10) I expected to be on 60ish%, however it was only 26% and that really made me happy.

Cons
  • Occasional crashes at early stage. Only in the first 2/3 missions I fond the game randomly crashing, but once I got passed those missions I never crashed again.
  • Small bugs such as falling through the map at one point.

DLC
When I saw that this game had a season pass I though the developers whould have been cutting content from the main game and reselling it, but with the amount of content that was in the base game was more than enough to make me purchse the Season Pass. Its cheap and hopefully will give me a few more hours of fun.

Note: I will be going back to 100% complete the game 2 more times for the other save slots...why?...because STAR WARS.

Update: Finally got round to 100% the game 3 times, with all the dlc :) Worth my money.

This is my very first Fallout game & after playing through multiple times on different character builds, I am now purchasing previous Fallout titles & other similar RPG's.

Pros
  • Large, open world. Most buildings and areas have a history that can be explored.
  • Great side quests.
  • Mod support. Always an easy thumbs up from me when the developers support the modding community.
  • Decent system optimization, running on a GTX 960 (4gb) & I7-4790.
  • Fast loading times. Only long loading screens when too many mods insalled, but not the devs fault.

Cons
  • The main story was decent up until you meet Shaun aka Father, I felt it went downhill from there.
  • The graphics look slightly outdated, but graphics aren't everything especially with a lot of compelling storylines.
  • Felt more like a FPS run and gun than a RPG.
  • AI is very buggy.
  • Not sure how common power armor was in previous games but in this game it feels too easy to accuire a full set of power armor.

DLC
The Wasteland Workshop dlc adds some pretty cool items that can be cool to add to settlements but this whole dlc felt like a paid mod. I can get more customization from a simple mod thats FREE. I would not recommend that dlc pack.

I have not purchased the Automatron dlc so when I do I shall update this part of the review.

The third dlc, Far Harbor is a better storyline than the main story in the base game. It adds a brand new loaction (biggest map expansion in any Fallout game), plenty of new creatures along with the norm & even more side quests. I would recommend this dlc pack.

Conclusion
Unlike many of the recent reviews, I really enjoyed my experience during Fallout 4 & will definitley be playing it more. If you are considering purchasing look at some gameplay on YouTube, don't leave a decision like this purely to reviews.
