Tunic promised a charming Zelda-like experience with a cute fox protagonist and a mysterious world to explore, but it falls flat in ways that left me more frustrated than enchanted. Whoever thought it was a fun idea to add a status effect that lows your max HP over time should be fired.

I really wanted to like Blasphemous. The gritty pixel art and dark, religious vibe hooked me at first—super promising stuff. But man, this game just doesn’t deliver where it counts. The controls feel clunky, like I’m fighting the mechanics as much as the enemies. Platforming sections are a nightmare; half the time, I’m dying to cheap spike traps or mistimed jumps because the hitboxes are so unforgiving.

The character designs looks low budget but are absolutely stunning. The gameplay is a blast, offering dynamic action with a ton of combo variety that keeps every fight feeling fresh and exciting. Exploration is pretty solid too, rewarding curiosity with cool discoveries. This is a solid search action game, not the best out there but worth the try.

Trails of Cold Steel IV brilliantly wraps up an incredible saga that has kept fans on the edge of their seats. If you loved Cold Steel III, then IV is the perfect sequel to dive into.

The narrative is nothing short of spectacular. The story arcs converge in ways that are both satisfying and emotionally resonant. The intricate plot weaves together all the threads from previous games, delivering a conclusion that feels both epic and heartfelt. The twists are unexpected, yet they fit seamlessly into the lore of the series. The transition from Cold Steel III to IV is seamless, building on the previous game's cliffhangers and promises.

In summary, Trails of Cold Steel IV is not just a game; it's an experience - a celebration of the series' legacy. It's a must-play for fans of the franchise, but newcomers should start from the beginning to get the most out of this rich narrative.

Marvel Rivals captures the essence of what fans love about superhero team-ups, packing it into an exhilarating team-based shooter. The gameplay is, in a word, fun. It's the kind of fun that keeps you coming back match after match, thanks to its blend of strategic depth and action-packed moments.

What truly sets Marvel Rivals apart is its character design. Each hero and villain has been lovingly crafted to reflect their comic book origins while fitting seamlessly into the game's dynamic environment. Not only do these designs look great, but they also play uniquely, encouraging players to master each hero's distinct style. This attention to detail in both aesthetics and gameplay mechanics elevates the overall experience, making every character a joy to control.

In conclusion, Marvel Rivals stands out as a must-play for fans of the Marvel universe and anyone who enjoys team-based shooters. The game manages to encapsulate the thrill of superhero battles in a way that's accessible yet challenging. It's a testament to how well a beloved franchise can be translated into the gaming world, offering both a visual treat and a gameplay experience that's hard to put down.

The game shines in its anime-inspired visuals. The character designs are top-notch, offering a wide array of customization options that really appeal to fans of the anime aesthetic. Each character feels unique, with distinct backstories that add depth to the narrative. While the gameplay might not be the most polished, it does capture the essence of what makes Souls-like games challenging and rewarding. The environments, while visually appealing with their post-apocalyptic theme, lack the intricate design that encourages thorough exploration. However, the game compensates somewhat with hidden paths and secrets that reward the curious.

This game isn't the best in its class, but it has a heart. It's perfect for those who love anime and souls-like games but are looking for something a bit more forgiving. The game's art style alone makes it stand out, and if you can look past the occasional gameplay hiccup, you'll find a game that's both stylish and fun to play. It's an 'ok' game that does some things very well, making it a recommended play for its target audience.

The core gameplay of Ninja Gaiden remains as thrilling and challenging as ever. The combat is fast-paced, requiring precision and strategy, which perfectly encapsulates the essence of ninja warfare. The controls feel responsive, with the added benefit of modern gamepad support enhancing the experience significantly. Every enemy encounter feels like a test of skill, pushing you to learn from your mistakes and improve your mastery over Ryu Hayabusa's vast array of moves. The game's difficulty, while steep, is balanced by the satisfaction of overcoming its challenges.

Team Ninja has done an exemplary job with the character designs. Ryu Hayabusa looks and feels like a true ninja, with his movements, weapons, and ninpo abilities reflecting a deep respect for the source material while adding a flair of fantasy. The design of enemies and bosses also impresses, each with unique attack patterns that require specific strategies to defeat, making every battle memorable.

This game is mediocre. It's just a button smash fest with no feedback at all. The checkpoints doesn't make sense as they are pretty separated one to another. And as soon as you die, which most of the time you can't control it because you mostly don't understand what is going on, then you lose all your progress.

I might try it later, idk. But for now, a total waste of time.

The culmination of all FromSoftware games so far. The sense of exploration is top-notch, the gameplay is satisfying, and the world is stunning, even tho I prefer a more compact world like the previous souls, the open world is gracefully implemented and everything feels connected.

The gameplay is basically an evolution of the old Souls and feels more polished, and it provides the player many resources to overcome the difficulties.

I wish there was more cohesiveness with the story and lore to get you a little more captivated in the world. Sometimes it just feels like you’re going here to kill that “because”. But that’s alright, every other aspect of the game is basically amazing. I got exactly what I paid for. And I received more value and content than I had originally intended.

Strider provides you with a good core gameplay experience. If you enjoy Metroid-likes this is definitely in the upper echelons of the genre with rapid combat and exploration elements and a satisfying equipment progression system. There is nothing much else to say. The game has its flaws but overall it feels polished and its fun to play.
