I had fun with it so far, with my first evening with the game going into around a 5 hour session. The production chains feel rewarding to set up. There's lots of building various items and structures. It's one of those games where if you really get into it, then you're spending a lot of time per turn managing things that feel great when you can min-max them. Combat is neat too in how you can create formations out of units into a 1 tile army with various buffs. My only mixed feelings on the game so far is on performance, and that diplomacy is a little shallow. But it's hard to blame the last part as I mostly come from Grand Strategy games versus 4X games where that's just how it goes.

I recommend the game as is, it's fun. It has an absolute gigantic load of content in terms of nations, resources, techs, buildings, and units.

I have been having fun with the game so far. My only complaint is using terrain tools in between roads to make the terrain smooth for the lots to be flatter and less bumpy.

As far as initial impressions go, I enjoy this game. Especially the scale of the game where you are sending wave after wave in hopes of taking one trench.

I regret all of the time I have played in this game. I have not seriously played the game since the addition of the IT-1, which at that point I knew the game was ruined with each additional patch adding untenable powercreep. The grind since then has only gotten worse. Stay away from this game.

A great end to a trilogy. It's a great send off for characters of this arc, some of whom are not seen again for nearly 10 years after it's initial release. The pacing is different from the first two games but is by no means worse. The extra content through "Doors" helps provide characterization and backstory to the beloved cast. If you haven't already then please play the Trails in the Sky series.

An incredible journey that builds upon everything laid by the first game. The last three chapters are climactic and emotional. Simply the best story I have ever played through.

I like the game. It is similar to Overwatch, except Gundam themed and more offensively focused as there are not strict roles.
