I like boats and mostly play this casually every once in a while. The ship models are really nice, there's a lot of events and things to do and gameplay is good though I do agree with a lot of the concerns about certain ship types, premium ships, long range meta (this one's more personal preference), etc.
It's not perfect, but I've had my share of enjoyable moments and matches (I've mostly played at tier 8) which makes it good enough to a casual player like me.

The needs for speeds goes back to simple cops v racers, with a not too complicated but still enjoyable storyline.
As one who played so much of Payback and spent so long getting desirable visual effects and those nicely rolled Outlaw cards, the removal of the RNG factor was a sight to behold, and hopefully won't be coming back. The game isn't actually too grindy unless you're buying much more than you need, and the all-or-nothing system to gain REP definitely adds a lot of excitement to the game.
The customization in the game is preetty nice, good enough that I'm afraid to buy cars in fear of spending hours customizing it. The wrap editor can probably be improved (a feature that might be useful is to mirror a decal by one specific point, as I hate having to flip then rotate), but I understand it isn't meant to be too complex or anything. Engine swaps and exhaust sound customizations are really cool and unique. It's great that there's some sort of balance for the engines, without one engine being a clear winner for all cars, allowing variety without sacrificing much performance. Also, no more race or offroad or drift specifications, just choose the parts you want to make your car into what you want it to be, pretty decent.
I have nothing much to complain about the game. The handling of the cars or other things people have brought up seems fine to a casual player like me. The physics can be a bit weird sometimes, but overall not bad. Though I must say, that one "River Fever" speed trap is bloody hard to 3 star.
This is the first Need For Speed game I've played with a friend, and as a result holds a special place with many fond memories. I've had a lot of fun (and sometimes frustration) when going through this game, and would definitely recommend.

Poly Bridge is a puzzle game that has a lot of content, is challenging, and can be really rewarding at times. However, rather than the title of the game suggests, very few levels in the game are actually about building cool and practical bridges. The game pushes focus towards hydraulics and ramps, with much of your time being spent on making tiny adjustments to make something work. The enjoyment in this game shouldn't be successfully launching various cars in the air and making sure they land at the correct spot (roof-first sometimes I may add), or making a hydraulic graveyard nobody would dare drive on in real life. I want to be able to actually thoroughly explore the many types of bridges and experiment with how those apply in different situations.
If you do get this game with the expectation of pure, fun bridge building, just go through the first few levels, and try a few of the levels made by the community.

As a casual player who plays racing games and is a big fan of F1, this game provides lots of content. It's exciting to race around tracks you've seen so often, figure out their challenges, and adjust a car's settings to each track layout. I'm also very fond of some of the historic cars in the game, and I especially enjoy driving the '96 FW18.
The campaign isn't so bad either. You get to create your own driver and sign a contract with a team of your choosing, with various expectations that you have to meet up to depending on the team you choose. Though I must say, the AI can be too "perfect" in some ways. I've yet to experience a single AI crash, and component failures are very very rare. Driving in the wet doesn't change much at all and safety cars are rare as well, which I must say takes a bit of the excitement away from races.
Though overall, it's a good game for all F1 fans or just people with interests in cars.

Nicely made game with a good soundtrack and stunning art design. The story is a pretty developed alternate universe, with all the lore and characters and stuff...maybe even a bit too developed to the point of being movie worthy.
Anyhow much of this game is based on killing stuff and getting loot. Yes, it gets repetitive at times but the game manages to maintain enjoyable (for me at least). There's a ton of locations and a lot, probably even more than a lot of stuff to do.
The customisation in this game is rather nice, eh? There's many cool weapons and armour, ships and sparrows, emotes, and different "builds" which will probably turn you into a collector with hundreds of stuff in your vault.
That being said though, this game is a lot to get into, slightly overwhelming even. I get that Bungie is trying to fix that but it does take a while to understand everything.
Therefore, take it easy, go step by step, kill stuff, get stuff, kill more stuff, then eat a sandwich, and this game might just slip in your favourites list.
