Firstly, I do not recommend this game for newcomers to souls titles, especially Elden Ring. Too challenging and punishing, too fast paced and requires prior knowledge of the previous title (weapons, enemies and their movesets, spells, etc) to perform optimally. Time is of the essence, and if you're dying often or taking too long to kill enemies, you'll fall behind and struggle with the boss at the end.

However, if you're a Souls veteran and enjoy Elden Ring, got some friends to play it with, you won't regret your purchase.

Not enough content to keep me engaged for long term. Content will get stale much quicker than the other titles from Fromsoft.

Within less than 40 hours I had already beaten all the bosses and done most remembrances.
Hoping that future updates and dlc will lengthen that by at least 50%.

On a side note, I wish there were more enemies and bosses from the other souls games remastered into it.
Come on, the Pursuer from DS2 as a raid makes total sense to have. Missed opportunity!

Feels more like a school project than an actual game but props for the effort.

The Royal Quest Online’s tutorial island/area filtered me out. The Steam Achievement stats told me I have gotten farther than over half of the players that tried it. Yes over half the players that tried this game quit before even finishing the starting zone.

The final straw for me was when a quest instructed me to find some pearl somewhere in the area. The catch was that there was no map marker. All I had was the crushing existential dread of wandering the map at the speed of a sedated sloth to find it. My character moves so slowly I aged three years traveling from Point A to Point B, only to realize Point B was actually Point A but with a different NPC.

And the quests! Every task is a tedious chore. “Jog for 40 seconds to kill 5 blobs, then jog back so I can send you to kill 5 flying bugs to then send you to another npc across the map to collect something for them to then return to me once more.” Meanwhile, the cash shop winks at you like a shady dude from a dark alleyway.
I realized this wasn’t a game but a psychological experiment testing human patience. The “Uninstall” button was the answer for all my problems.

Best Exile-Like game of all time.

I forgot that this game existed for a while until I had some vietnam flashbacks.
This game feels like a downgrade in every aspect compared to the first and second Torchlight games. Definitely one of the worst ARPGs I've ever played in my life. I wouldn't have been able to play as long as I did if I wasn't playing it with a friend. It is a boring, uninspiring, repetitive, shallow, soulless game.
This was supposed to be a mobile game but was released here to cash in and try to get back some of the money they invested into it.
Don't give them your money. Hell, don't even waste your time even if it was free. There are plenty of better ARPG alternatives out there.

Probably the most breathtaking visuals in any video game I've ever played. It's like playing in an interactable 3D painting. I stopped what I was doing countless times in awe because of how pretty the world looks. Never took so many screenshots in a game before. Exploration is rewarding in a variety of ways, especially when it comes to character progression.
Fun and challeging combat, tight and responsive controls, it flows very nicely. You can be a stealthy ninja, go berserk getting the attention of everyone. You can be tanky or glass canoon, you can also choose to play as a ranged character.
You can choose the kind of play style you want through unlocking and choosing upgrades and gear that provide special effects.
Characters are Interesting and so is the story. It's not what carried the game for me, but it didn't get in the way of my enjoyment either. There were memorable moments here and there that I won't forget anytime soon.

The best ARPG in the market by far. However it is a very complicated game to get into blindy, so watch beginner guides and check for builds for the current league and follow it. The investment in learning the game pays off in the end if you like this genre, I promise you.
Also, the game is free to play and it is not pay to win (tons of gorgeous cosmetics by the way). But it is highly recommended to purchase stash tabs to play the game more comfortably, so check the must have ones online.

I regret giving them my money.
