This game is great, I love the flow and the style, the gameplay loop is nice but there are a lot of "Early Access" parts that are just insane to me. I recommend the game but I'd love and hope to see improvements in the future.

For starters a LOT of the UI/Control is just bad, from playforms needing roads to be placed on them or roads a mere suggestion to obstacles like a small shrub to needing to press 4-5 buttons to remove a construction project and god help you if you didn't intend to destroy something, it's gone in a poof; So hope and double check when deleting things with the destroy tool. Hell the unlock isn't in tree form and you WILL unlock things you can't use because you don't have the tech unlocked to build it.

I suggest buildings start with paths in front of doors, paths being placed mark a location obstructed with uprooting/destruction and place after, platforms should start as a path (like stairs ie. not requiring a placed path) and should be UI toggled (same with Dam, Levee ect.), destroying things should be as simple as a keyboard button and should require a builder to destroy it. A priority menu should be available for every building and tool by default on the edge of the screen so you can set priority BEFORE you place work to end the click nightmare. A tech tree would be useful for new players. And lastly placing, moving and general management of structures needs to be QOL to hell.

All in all it's a great game but you will find a lot of your time is spent clicking path, drawing a path, clicking uproot, clicking a tree, clicking priority, clicking the tree, clicking path, making the path, clicking destroy tool, clicking the path you overshot. Please Devs ~ Fix the UI.

I love Quake and I enjoyed doom 3 but this game is so f-kin bad that I can't even play it for the story, dead ass watch someone else play it on youtube and save yourself the absolute brainrot of a game. From ♥♥♥♥♥♥ save points to on rails shooters to horrible vic controls this game has every single bad game trope you can have for an action FPS. DONT PLAY IT.

Shadows of Doubt is one of those games that comes out and completely flips gaming on its head with a fresh take on something old, L.A. Noire comes to mind but with the fresh flexibility of procedural generated worlds and cases. The style and rich do it yourself open world is such a welcome site to the detective genre and I can't wait to see what comes next.

This is not a game, it's a technical demo for what a game could be, if you want to spend hours tearing your hair out and sitting on the border of an emotional breakdown because things that should work simply DON'T for no diserable reason then this is the "game" for you, else this is a great proof of concept for something that /could/ be fun, unfortuantly as of writing, it is not.

The new update really ruined the game for me. If I wanted to play stromtrooper simulator and shoot wildly at every foe I see friendly or not then I'd invite them to get the rights to Battle Front, but this is not the kind of shooter /game/ I paid for and wanted to play. Honestly I would rather get a refund and buy the old game back.

The only people playing this game would play this game if it had a phallus sticking out of the screen and they'ed suck it.

this is by far one of the best games that have lived in gaming legends and i think its finnally time for gordon (and valve) to wake up.... wake up and smell the ashes...
