I don't understand how the beta was better than the "finished" product

What an amazing and breath-taking game! I've had so much fun this past week or so of playing and am really looking forward to what I discover in the future. I bought this game around its release on the PS4 and enjoyed it for what it was: a very relaxing exploration game where I could discover and document the fauna, flora, and systems, and I was happy with that. Sure, it got repetitive and dull at times, but I never thought too much of it. But the developers have truly gone above and beyond and created something really special; it's not just special for me but for so many other gamers out there who have been with the game all this time. They have improved and added so many new things, and for the better. What was a relaxing game to blow off some steam is now an epic story of discovery, exploration, and amazement. This is a game you should follow, a game you should support, and, without a doubt, a game you will enjoy.

No one cared who I was until I put on the mask

Not entirely sure what I'm doing half the time but I'm having fun with it.

UPDATE: After 1.0 I've had 3 noticeable bugs 1. I've black screened a couple of times before and after cut scenes 2. NPCS have become stuck walking through walls, and 3. fish float and spin in the air when thrown into the pond.

I have stuck with this game for years and have always ignored the delays and issues, telling myself just a little longer and it will be better. I checked the monthly updates every month on Twitter so I could see how well the progress was going, and when I found out about the console release, I was over the moon. For a game like this, I would much rather sit back and chill on the couch when playing it. There were updates saying they were delaying the 1.0 release on PC so it could launch alongside the console release. That was until a few days ago when they finally announced the release date, only for console players to be left behind and told it wouldn't be released at the same time. Now I'm happy this game is finally getting its 1.0 update I think it's a pretty solid game, but the way this developer has gone about things and the fact that not only did they lie about the console releasing on the same day as the PC, but they held back the PC release for this long for no reason whatsoever. If you want a game like this, go buy Rune Factory or even Stardew Valley. They offer so much more, and their developers actually deserve the appreciation and money.
