Nier is such an incredible expierence. It tries to subvert expectations and does things that no game has done. It's almost like the devs sat down and said how do we challenge the definition of what a game is...you got an incredible story, a amazing banger soundtrack, granted gameplay isn't groundbreaking but it feels good and doesnt get boring and 2 different games withing a game (hacking minigame and flight unit twin stick shooter passages). This whole game gives off a vibe that only few games achieve. I played it back in 2018 and to this day I listen to the OST because it's that damn good. How many games have you played where you can say you had to complete it 2 times to get to the real meat of the story? And after playing it 2 times that whole intro sequence in the third playthrough is just plain perfection. Games themselves are a form of art (i mainly mean story games) but recently many games have been focusing on individuall elements rather than the complete package....this one however is a work of art in all areas
