Combat in this game is the most poorly designed nonsense I've ever subjected myself to. There might be a good game here but it's locked behind the worst combat mechanics I've ever encountered in a video game and terrible quest progression. I guess if you like Soulslike games and/or hate yourself then this game is for you but it is definitely not for me.

This game takes my ADHD and gently caresses it into submission.

If I wanted to be bored by the Tudors, I'd watch the Tudors.

I want to give this game a good review but unfortunately I didn't get to play enough of it to consider it anything other than a grind. The idea of a game that blends Tower Defense with RTS was really appealling to me but this game is not that. The "Tower Defense" aspect is just timed, increasinly overwhelming waves that you litterally can't defend against. Each wave rips down your paultry defenses forcing a cycle of "rebuild everything" while making little to no progress on the actual scenario objectives. I was playing on the default difficulty and it's just not fun. It's basically an RTS "soulslike" so, if you like redoing the same levels over and over again with no room for a mistake then you'll like this. Personally, I play games to relax not to grind.

Even with all the high-school relationship drama, the game is super fun.

If you are into turn-based tactics games then I assure you that this game will also ruin your life for a solid 100 hours or so.

incredible game - not only is it a wild ride from start to finish, it's also a technically sound tactics game. Outstanding!
