Edit: A complete rewrite of my review.

The core game / elements are complete accessible to free to play players. Premium currency could also be traded for items farmable in game, so even free to play players would be able to get their hands on some neat premium currency asethetics.

Gameplay is action packed, however for maximum efficiency gameplay would mostly include a well coordinated team that surrounds one frame to stand there and afk kill everyone in the room, which is fairly boring.

There's a reason vets are also leaving the game, sure the devs are super devoted to the game and want to launch new content into the game to keep their players happy. However, sometimes they are too eager to do so.

Take the Plains of Eidolon update for example, the introduction of new resources that are completely cut off from the rest of the planet / solar system, requires you to grind it out again purely on Cetus (plains of eidolon). This makes it feel like Plains of Eidolon is a complete seperate game cut off from the other planets.

It was also because of Plains of Eidolon that I quit playing warframe, the fact that all the new content is constantly dumped into Cetus makes it real hassle to grind it out.

Moreover, even old content gets dumped into Cetus, such as arcanes that used to be obtained in raids, and now that arcanes are obtained by killing big bad bosses (Eidolons) in Cetus that require good weaponary (Amps) to kill, which to acquire said weapon requires you to level up your faction rep, which to level up said faction rep requires you to kill said big bad bosses (Eidolons) or grind out Cetus. Thus, you fall into this loop where no one wants to pair up with you because your weapon (Mote Amp) is useless against the Eidolons, and you're stuck grinding out alone on Cetus, which is a pain in the rear cause you're already grinding out resources on other planets.

So do I recommend this game? Eh sure, if you're willing to grind out two completely different resource systems in order to play the core game and new content.
However, I'm not willing, so I've quit warframe.
