Early Access Review
Pretty chill cleaning sim. Does need more content, but as of writing this, it's currently in Early Access, so you've got roughly 2-4 hours of gameplay here. I'm on the later side of that hunting down 100% for areas. Controls are comfy and the gadgets available do help out.

To the Devs: Solid game, but I will recommend making the hint system (revealing plants needing watering) a bit more visible, as it can be very hard to actually see where the plants are. Unless that's the intention. Will update review when the full game is out.

January 2023 Update: Hint system is more clear now, thank you devs!

The game can feel a bit repetitive, but it's one of those "More for the Zen, not the story." games. You're not here for the story or anything. Just sit back, relax, and get cleaning the various levels!

FINE, I'll punch a nun! Are you happy now?!

Secret Word: CHAOS

Joking aside (or is it a joke-), this picks up from the others and goes deeper into your own psyche. Incredibly thought provoking, and I took longer to ponder the scenarios laid out before me. What are you willing to do and say? And will you punch a nun-Gah, now they've got me doing it!

Definitely recommend giving it a look.

Another thrilling (and slightly uncomfortable) test into one's psyche. Definitely worth the try. (But seriously wtf was with that ONE question)

Oh, also: Secret Word: SELFCARE. Have fun getting THAT ending. *shudders*

Secret Word: POWER

An interesting questionnaire that lets one take a in-depth look into their own behaviors and psyche. Give it a look if you've got time to burn.

A pretty solid classic FPS on the Build Engine. Yes, it's old. So? Doom was made before it and that game still holds up. Sounds great, the movement is weird but great, and the weapons feel great (The double-barrelled shotgun in Blood is the best shotgun in video games, fight me(or don't, just enjoy the game)).

DO BE WARNED: Blood is NOT a walk in the park. It will NOT hold your hand, it's going to kick you in the face and stomp you into the ground repeatedly. You're Going To Die. A Lot. On Any Difficulty. Because this is a game before the game industry decided to appeal to the general public by essentially making games so brain dead easy a baby can accidentally mash its way through.
I'm not insulting people who can't handle difficulty, I'm just saying that if you're having trouble clearing the first two levels on the easiest difficulty, there's no shame in refunding the game and getting something else your speed.

The level design is brilliant and neat to look at. The easter eggs are cool too. Keep looking for those secret areas, you'll need the stuff they give.

Also if you want more go look up a mod called "Death Wish". Hands down still better than that disappointment of a sequel that Blood 2 dares to call itself. Don't @ me if you like Blood 2.

Fun game, super complex, but the time flies so fast when you're playing it! ...Now where did I leave those conveyor belts...and why is it morning already?!

Starts out as a simple idler, evolves into something much more. The story may not grip you, but the intricate management you need to pull off to get that little bit of extra power later on is just...

It's easy to start, difficult to master. And it's still just as fun.

The story is standard XCOM stuff with Bioware-esque storytelling mixed in. Felt like Mass Effect 3 meets XCOM. Interpret that as you will. Nothing extraordinary is done with the characters, story, or background.

You will always deploy with up to 2 AI team members from a roster of agents with different classes. Pick what you think will mesh, and go get them killed. Why do I say this? Simply because, your team AI will repeatedly, REPEATEDLY break cover that you JUST ordered them to hide behind a mere second ago, which is SAFE, because they can't get a shot on the enemy. ...Even if it means they charge forward into their own demise.

You're going to spend most of your time in combat babysitting your AI partners, constantly telling them where to go and use their skill sets if you don't want to have to charge through a battlefield full of plasma and laser fire to rescue good 'ol Jimmy because Jimmy thought that getting up close to shoot at a squad of aliens with a MARKSMAN SNIPER RIFLE was a FANTASTIC IDEA. Great going Jimmy! Enjoy that face full of alien lead. You Earned It.

...Rant about the horrid AI aside, the powers are neat, but felt like they needed...more options to them. Felt lacking. Both for your own power set and your squad mates power sets.

For how much I just crapped on the game, It can be fun, but don't play it on the hardest difficulty. Go for Easy to experience the story, go for Veteran for a challenge, and, if you're masochistic and think punching yourself in the groin isn't cutting it right now, go Veteran and try to get the achievement for no squad mate deaths. GOOD EFFING LUCK, YOU'RE GONNA NEED IT.

As for me, I can't recommend this game. It just doesn't hold itself up at all. The older XCOM games are worth the money. This...isn't. Get it on a sale, play on Easy, maybe you'll have a good time.

A twisted yet intriguing short puzzle game...depending on Difficulty. The rules are simple: At any given time, You MAY or MAY NOT be in a dream. Parasite driven humans will hunt you down, but they're easy to take down and you'll get ammo to deal with them. The REAL challenge is having to take note of every small detail to figure out if you're dreaming or not. If ANYTHING seems off, subtle or obvious, and you're ABSOLUTELY sure you're dreaming, shoot thyself in the noggin. If you're right, you leave that dream. If you're wrong, you just blew your head off. Oops. It's a few minutes to a few hours of fun that you CAN come back to with 3 different difficulties. I recommend this if you like psychological mindscrews.

A grind-fest disguised as a Fighting Sim. Not saying that's a bad thing, but it's best to know what you're getting into. If you're going to play this game, there's two ways to play it:

1. Normal Mode: Slowly grind up every stat with a main focus in ONLY one of the stats (you can't do them equally and win fights because of the daily stat degeneration (About 50-75% a stat level per game day, resulting in level downs if the stat's below that)) AND the training fall-off (can't spam one training method, because the stat gain decreases after a while and becomes a waste of calories, which means having to neglect training so you can get money to get food to get training again.) and have every fight move in your deck be for that one stat. Anything else is a waste that could cost you victory. Not really fun unless you like hardcore grinding. It's gonna take a long time to complete the game.

2. Easy mode: No stat degeneration, allowing you to build your character how you want in every direction. Have fun with it.

If way #1 sounds appealing to you, this game's for you. If not and way #2 is more appealing, Play on easy, punch through the campaign, move on.

I recommend it because for what it is, it can be fun. It's really up to you to find out what's fun for you.
