Already my game of the year 2025. So much detail in a pre-release, so many fun weapon and boon combos. I cant wait to see where the rest of the story goes.

Dont know if its just me but the difficulty is a bit easier than Hades I, outside of the Chronos fight which is incredible. The second boss fight is one of my favourite fights in any game thanks to the music (it even has a second alternate song which is also a banger!)

Overall a really great game, especially since it was meant as filler to satisfy fans until Borderlands 3.

The new mechanics in this game are done very smoothly, low gravity in general is just super fun. Cryo weapons have become a favourite of mine as well, and just feels satisfying. It really feels like the developers just had a lot of fun making that, which transfers so well into how fun the game itself is. The playable characters actually have dialogue with the NPC's now, which made the experience a whooooole lot better.

Unfortunately though, this game is EXTREMELY buggy. Some of the bugs are hilarious, but many are just frustrating. For example, when you get slowed due to an enemy cryo weapon or something in the environment, there is a chance you will stay slowed until you quit to the main menu. I've also experienced several issues with the Fight For Your Life system, which makes playing on your own a serious pain.

I still reccommend this game, even with all the bugs theres just so much fun to be had.
