I was hyped by the trailers, prepaid for the game, and was sorely let down. This is a common complaint with this game. I gave it a second chance and it came back like a champ.
The base game was shallow, yet somehow relaxing/zen. Then a major update over half a year down the line and more along the same timeline. Adding things, changing things, each update adding base construction or exocraft or bytebeat. I've lost track of which update is which, but all of the additions have made this sandbox grand.
