WTF did I buy? Devs should be publicly whipped for utilizing procedural generation in 2023...specially on games that have such MASSIVE budgets. Gamers want bespoke hand crafted planets and buildings, not a procedural generated "buffet" style vanilla planets and identical looking plants and items.

The story is DRY, "safe", and BOOOOOOOORING AF. The intro sequence was so quick and stupid I had no idea why I was mining rocks or where I was or what my backstory was....

I create my character then...I'm in a cave all of sudden with some lady telling me to follow her. I mine some rocks, which is just pointing at highlighted clusters of rocks, then you find a "special" rock. 5 minutes later some random NPC stranger lands his spaceship and tells you to keep his multi billion dollar ship, cause ya know, no reason bro. You watch a loading screen which is considered "space travel", then you do the walking simulator on another fairly empty and vanilla planet and arrive at a board meeting where Besthesda wanted you to know...that EVERYONE IS INCLUDED....There's a white guy, black guy, asian girl, indian guy....then...wait for it...YOU'RE OBVIOUSLY SPECIAL! For no reasons, you're just SUPER special so now you're part of their special token diverse club! Now go run errands for the next few hours special boy!

The missions are ridiculous and make little sense as to why you should obligate yourself to running errands for any of the whiny space peasants. I could have written better story missions in 15 minutes with ChatGPT. Gamers want to feel invested in their NPC companions and quest givers.

I can guarantee Space Exploration in any future will never be this diverse. This game's politically correct "safe" stance makes it seem like Netflix co-developed this game with Ned Flanders. This game could use a massive dose of vulgar banter. I want to be immersed in the game. I want to witness and understand the different factions deep rooted hatred for each other. It is absolutely unbelievable how a space pirate all jacked up on drugs fighting me for his LIFE ....won't use any derogatory remarks or insults. "He's getting the upper hand, QUICK GET HIM!"...... *sigh*..

Space travel is literally just basic animated loading screens.

As others have said, this is Fallout 4 in space with a much worse UI and terrible game mechanics.

The UI is clearly some engineer/spreadsheet lovers work and is simply atrocious.

The game runs poorly on a 14900ks+50X0 RTX with 64gb/DDR5 on a NVME.

Needs DLSS. Needs weather mods, needs better high res optimized textures, needs better voice acting, needs a wonton dose of profanity, needs adult humor, needs really attractive and really ugly characters (everyone looks "basic").

I played this for 5 hours and uninstalled it. What a massive disappointment.
