Now, I really like Warhammer 40K, but this is NOT it. Just go play DOOM if you want something that feels even a bit like this. Everything in this game feels wrong. Animations are subpar and feel so flat, everything feels off and janky, and they packed a bunch of half baked mechanics into the game that don't really work at all. You can use a grapple hook, wall run, execute people, you have a hound that you can command (kinda), you can slow time, and a bunch of other stuff. The problem is that none of it really works and that none of it feels satisfying to use. For example, wall running is almost never used outside of the one time it's introduced from what I've played and seen on the game, because you're in a hive city where everything is either massive or super enclosed with no in between, and a mechanic like wall running doesn't flourish in that environment, especially if your level design doesn't support it. Skill points are used for small upgrades to stats for arbitrary depth, and a loot system with tiers of gear and the works that just isn't fun to use. That's not even getting into all of it (Story, enemies, characters, graphics, etc.) but I feel like that's all I have to say. Gore can look really good though.
