What an experience. I heard the good reviews, read a couple of reviews, took the plunge with very little context but....yeah I need some time to understand the depth of it all. Wholeheartedly recommend this as a palette cleanser and as a game that is so far out of the normal games I'd play it's almost a perfect shift.

Treat yourself to some amazing writing, great visuals and a story that'll go places you won't expect. Trust me.

As a very casual gamer on PC (weekends mainly and every so often during the week) Hunt came at a wonderful time as the pandemic hit with me and some buddies who were reconnecting.

120(ish) later and I can safely say this is GOTY for 2020. As far as FPS multiplayer games go it is sublime. The guns are so good to use (nice and slow but so are your opponents) and the added tactics of the tools, grenades, decoys and everything in between; every game is different.

If you're on the fence, this game is a steal at full or half price. The devs are really supportive and twitch community are amazing.

BUY IT.

Legitimately weird and brilliant. At first, you'll not have a clue what's happening. Just let it happen and slowly but surely it'll all come together. Not finished it, no idea how far till the end. But these are some mega superpowers in a unique and memorable environment. Class.

This is my first Steam review and I'm purposely going toa void the typical layout of Steam reviews that cover things like graphics, audio, story and rate them as such.

What I will say is that (from my relatively short playtime compared to some) I enjoyed every second I spent with this game. Unlike any game I've ever played before, DE is a game I'll never forget. Yes there's a lot of reading, some of it will confuse and bewilder you - but way way more will engage, entice and push you forward.

The graphics are stunning, the music is on point, the writing is out of this world and how it all comes together as the game progresses is quite frankly outrageously impressive.

This is a true gem. If you fancy a new experience and you're willing to commit, I really can't recommend it enough.

quick review - this game intruiges me, alot. Can't stop thinking I want to play it.
Tried it, 1.8 hours in and I want to p-lay more. BUT these days you vote with your wallet... and I can't warrant 40 english pounds on a game releasedf with so many issues graphically.

I'll give you the money later for a game you should have released.

I recommend headphones and to explore. Forget about the length of the game...whether its a walking simulator, or the standard pick up and move things around way of exploration. This is a story told how it was intended. Take the journey in a unique setting with likeable characters...with situations I can promise you won't find yourself in in any other game.

If you are at all interested or have said...I want to play this but the price seems a little high, then just know that only 2.3 hours in and I have found it worth every penny!

PS. be ready with print screen and an open word document. Your PC wallpapers are about to take a beating!

With just under 2 hours played (normally enough to tell with rogue-like survival games) I can heartily recommend this. Subtle atmosphere and clever resource management compliment the stunning visuals.

One issue is that I have had several crashes, which will likely be patched out sooner rather than later.

If you like DOn't Starve and are a fan of ex-Bioshock employee's....grab this!

One of if not the deepest and most challenging games I have ever played.

A huge lore that you can delve into and uncover if you want, but it can also be entirely held up on its sheer challenge and near perfect controls and movement. BUY. THIS. NOW. AND. PLAY. IT.
