There's some good things I could say about the game, sure. But all I want to tell you is, YOU CANNOT MAKE YOUR OWN NAME. How absurd of a concept in today's age where I can straight have a solid name, say "ManCrammer" on another game. I'm known for my awful name selections and this game deprives us of that entirely. I cannot recommend this game until these communist name bans are lifted. Until then, call me "Wonky Fallen Moon," the name I was assigned when I started this damn game. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous.

Playing through the game with a friend I worked with in a Corrections Facility has made the game ten-fold better than it would have been with another friend. It is crucial that whomever you play with have some history, or otherwise chemistry to make the game better. The game-play and plot is fairly stale, but the situations and people within the game leave endless possibilities for hilarity. We have played through the game as a comedy, with our own ridiculous narrating that made the experience infinitely better. Grab a friend and buckle up.

After your first few hours the game isn't scary with the exception of the occasional jump scare when someone sneaks up on you.
Chases get the blood flowing, very exciting feeling. Haven't got that feeling playing any games in the past.

The devs do a good job at keeping updates and hot fixes flowing. Very active in the community and constantly keeping things balanced.

The community is only as toxic as you make it. If you start throwing a fit about something you are liable to be trolled to no end, but if you are a good sport you will be met with the same behavior.

If you are easily frustrated this game may not be for you. Very steep learning curve but also tons of players happy to help you overcome it.

Played the original for roughly 800 hours. Enjoyed the unique play style, and refreshing take on a RPG/FPS. Played the second one for a couple hundred hours. Felt about identical to the first, with new faces, similar plot. Refused to touch the Pre-Sequel due to the burnt out feeling I got from forcing the second game down.
Now this one. This one feels fresh, it feels new. It doesn't feel like the same game 4 times in a row. They kept the humor, and the originality that made me love the first one, but also added enough that it feels like a new take on the series. Sex/10

Bring friends and have sexy times.

Price is a bit steep and I don't yet know how long the game will be. But overall not even a little upset with the purchase. I hate fighting games with a passion, and that was my biggest concern with this game. But the combat feels good, and it's not too difficult for someone like myself that is grossly incompetent when it comes to fighting games. Best Dragonball Z game I've played since Legacy of Goku.

About the only complaint I have about the game is the graphics. It's a solid game, a ton of fun with friends. When the full release drops in 16 years it has a ton of potential for best zombie game ever.
RPG elements on point. Multiplayer is on point. Crafting is on point. Heat / Cold effects aren't overwhelmingly cancerous. One of my favoritest zambie games.

Played some Chutes and Ladders with a friend and was able to order and ship a 20" large black strap-on to his house while we played. His sex life has been such a whirlwind with his wife he hasn't been able to sit and play with me since, however was worth the ride. 10/10 Best strap-on. 9/10 Solid game.

I see a ton of negative reviews for this game, so I'm voicing my opinion on the game to contrast those.

TL;DR - This isn't your typical zombie game. Red Dead Redemption is to UndeadNightmare as Payday 2 is to Overkill's The Walking Dead. It has a story, it has zombies, treat it like you would playing a Payday game and it all makes sense. Treat it like your average zombie game, you will be confused, you will be annoyed.

This game is a blast. There's a ton of upgrading, and leveling to do with your characters. You unlock new characters. They plan to expand the story, adding new missions, more playable characters, and more unlockables. 26 hours in and I don't have my first character maxed out, let alone the other 4 currently available. There's a class system in place as well, every character has a niche. The devs are actively working on the bugs, and I personally haven't experienced any issue aside from load times as of yet.
If your computer doesn't meet the requirement recommended to play, you will notice a difference, and frequent crashing. That is not news! Don't grab this unless you can run it. Otherwise enjoy steam's loose refund policy. I paid the full $64.19 and have no regrets and plan to have 200+ hours in the game before I'm maybe burned out.
Last thing I'll note, if you approach this like a plain jane new zombie game it won't make sense to you. If you have played Payday 2, the human enemies operate like the cops basically. Zombies are a blast to add into the mix. Buy the game, join their discord, play with friends, have a blast.

tl;dr The Devs are still present, and still active, and still working to improve the game. No complaints there. Most the bugs are so small you won't notice when they happen. Only rarely do you see something questionable in nature. Most the negative reviews are just people that are butt hurt about DLC not happening as scheduled.

I'm 500 hours in and still having fun. The community is generally welcoming and helpful. The game itself is entertaining to say the least. Most of these negative reviews complain about "game breaking bugs" or "incompetent devs" but I'd argue that these aren't really points that should effect whether or not you get the game.

Even if the devs never add a DLC, the game is solid. They will add DLC, eventually, be patient, but the game is great for now anyway. The marginal line you have to cross as a developer to be considered incompetent is literally just saying or doing something that a person disagrees with, and suddenly, incompetent. I'd disagree strongly. Is there a couple things they could have done better? Sure. But we're all human, the game is 1000 times better than the original, and I can't in my right mind complain about this game after having lived through it. The loot system is infinitely better, the cosmetics are infinitely better, could still use work, but it's so much better than it was.

As far as bugs go, sure you'll see some fun tid bits sprinkled here and there. As far as "game breaking" bugs go, I might have something questionable happen every couple weeks, if that. If your PC can run this game without crumby FPS, you will be fine. They are usually fast to fix any new bugs that come up that could cause you problem.
