If you want a moneysink with RNG rigged against you you're better off hitting the casino.

Another case of a PC game intentionally being made worse because of consoles.

Easily one of the best Roguelike Deckbuilders. Worth for the gameplay alone, but compared to other games of the genre, this one even has a good story on top.

The game is quite easy until unlocking optional challenges however, which can be considered a downside for those that prefer a challenge right from the start or an upside for people who don't want that and potentially prefer focusing on the story.

Sadly it is not possible to recommend a MMO without considering the community, that's holding this game back.
Sure, it can still be worth it as long as you only play with a closed group of friends or a single player game, but at that point is it really worth to play a MMO?

The game is okay. That's it. There are better roguelikes, better poker games and better poker roguelikes out there.

Also the Dev seems to be pro-censorship which makes me uncomfortable having bought this game.

In terms of Singleplayer campaigns this one is the most unbalanced yet.

Early Access Review
Very buggy.

- Scoreboard sometimes staying open while not pressing the button anymore, only closable with esc and not even the button that opened it (seems to be triggered by clicking on scoreboard and fixed by muting/reporting someone)
- Scoreboard neither showing stat summaries, nor damage type of gods
- not able to change autoskill or save custom builds for gods; not even able to view items outside of matches
- can't sell starter item in practice mode
- opening chat makes you stop moving, so you can't give your teammates quick information (e.g. calling enemy ultimate down and writing god name in chat, worked while continuing moving in smite 1)
- VGS rarely closes via rightclick and instead blocks any input
- pressing consumable buttons while in chat uses consumables
- chat often can't even be opened
- chat rarely shows when others type or use VGS
- no optimization
- often can't change gods after selecting without locking, because "back" button / esc do nothing
- clicking in shop to select items during backport cancels backing

Paired with terrible design choices:
- Defense is literally worthless, due to too much pen and power
- Snowballiest Smite ever was
- the way STR/INT is implemented it actually decreases flexibility when it's supposed to increase it
- CC buffering actually buffs abilities turning the camera, because abilities go off into nowhere and go on CD

Another issue is of course the playerbase, that's even more toxic than it was in Smite 1 and sadly that will probably never change.

Fun game, even more so in co-op. Feels absolutely worth multiple playthroughs to collect and try a variety of gear.

Obtainable gear is nice, the campaign however isn't. Ward Prime is a badly designed puzzle. Reisum is okay, but everything looks the same (every dungeon having the exact same starting room made it annoying to even enter them at some point).

Bonus content MIGHT be worth it, survival mode certainly isn't.
