Techland hates speedrunners and actively makes the game worse to stop them from speedrunning.

it's good, it's fun, nearly if not all of the negative reviews are salty about things that a small dev team did an amazing job of working around or working with, considering their limited manpower.

and the bugs and issues? Yes they exist, but they aren't that prominent or gamebreaking. less than most current triple A games, it's very well made. That's all.

THIS IS NOT A PORT

Note: a friend gave me this game for my birthday, however I really didn't want a gift all that much and treat it as if I spent my own money.

I love dishonored, and always will. That being said, this edition DOES have it's own issues, namely the random FPS drops on my end, and I have a REALLY powerful PC, granted I stream while playing and that may cause a few issues here and there.

this is just to try and offset a few of those "negative reviews" THIS IS NOT A PORT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. each edition was made for it's platform, the mouse feels fine (it controls wonderfully overall) besides some keybinding issues.

it's only real flaw is the performance, and that aside, this is worth playing. I'd wait for a few patches to fix those performance issues, but recommend it highly.

Game's free to play now, Xavient has changed things up and is trying again. I'm willing to give them another chance, and I say everyone do the same, ESPEICALLY since you can try it for no cost now.

Seriously, it's a good game, and it's good to see it going back to it's roots.

Also, the negative reviews about the combat system: Git ♥♥♥♥♥♥ good. Seriously, I rand into a guy with a tier 4 and destroyed him without armor and only with a tier 1. People complaining about the system are simply not good or experienced players.
