The game is fun--but the meta progression is really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. Progression is tied to RNG drops. I am 44 hours in and cannot craft a blue tier weapon reliably because I do not have the proper weapon component BP. I only have 1 real green blue print, and I am tired of playing with the same gun 30 hours in. All of my workstations are maxed, i have legendary BPs, but no gun part BPs. The quests are pointless, they offer one time gear injections as rewards. They are usually a net negative on loot to time ratio. That is to say, you get more loot ignoring the quests and just searching for items than you get from doing the quests. Money is nearly useless late game. You can only buy some limited equipment once every 24 hours. Leveling your workbecnches to 3 (which requires going out and killing all of the big 'scary' arcs) without BPs gives you pretty much nothing.

The game is fun, it runs well, it's got a cool design, but the devs do not understand the fundametal structure of a extraction shooters meta game economy. These are very, very easy changes to implement. We'll see if they figure it out.

Low-key agree. Starting weapons (mainly ferro) are also just way too op when upgraded to 3 for the piss-low commitment that is, they get wayy to much value, so there's also really no reason to bring expensive guns/loadouts because of that
