Early Access Review
The gameplay is a mix of Mega Man X and Zero styles, with a splash of rouge-like elements and randomly generated stages!
The title screen alone tells you how many days until the next update, so you're never left guessing when it gets even better!
The way the game is now, it's wonderful. When it's finished? Hopefully, even better!~

As a rhythm game, this one is pretty damn good! Good music, fun levels and challenges, and Workshop support, woo!
As a story? It's surprisingly good, at least for rhythm game standards! It wasn't the kind of thing to keep me on the edge of my seat, but it's great to watch unfold, at least to see where the next stage will take you!
As an early access game? You could have fooled me into thinking this is a full game, it comes with a healthy amount of content, and workshop support is always welcome!

If you love this sort of art style, the game does NOT disappoint, it only gets weirder and weirder.
Great music elevated by fantastic visuals, with some pretty easy gameplay. You point, and you click.
But still, you're not here for the gameplay, you're here for the magic of it all. Get it, it's worth it.

Update: Most of the time, I play a game, and that is that. Maybe I'll hum a song for a day, but that's it.
This game has managed to stay relevant in my mind for the past year and some change. From the fantastic art style, to the surreal story telling, the easy to grasp gameplay, and the music.
Because of this game, I managed to get into VRTLHVN's music, even buying the OST to listen to over and over.
This game didn't change me to the core, but it stuck with me. Genuinely, this game will forever stay in the back of my head as a wonderful piece of media.

How many games are there in this series?
Wait, what, a novel?
And this game actually USES some of that lore?
Huh.

Good game.

It's Katamari, it's my favorite series of all time, what do you think I'm gonna rate it?
Just play with a controller, it's kinda. . . Not good otherwise.

If you couldn't tell, I still love this game, even with the whole bots situation going on.
Speaking of bots, I spent at LEAST 50 of these hours in MVM killing bots with my friends!
Overall, a good time.
